By Stephen King. Not really about AP but damned if it's not the trippiest thing I've ever read.

I agree wholeheartedly. (Well, how could I not :-))

BTW, I think Stephen King must have quite some interest for AP himself. It doesn't play a major role in his books (except Insomnia), but is mentioned once or twice in almost every King book I've read.

I think King has an interest in about all thing's paranormal. But Insomnia seems to be the only book of his that really delves into the whole auras thing. But his other books like the Dark Tower series and MOST OF ALL the great and wonderful The Talisman are all about other-worldly travel. Both are excellent, though the Dark Tower series can be a bit dull. However, if there was one other book I'd really recommend for all the weird-butt trippers here it'd be The Talisman. That book makes me so happy.
