I just got finished reading The Ra Material and the law of one book II by Ra.
This is a 5 part series, each book has a group of people channeling an entity named Ra. He claims to be the same Ra the Egyptians were in communication with and claims to be a 6th dimensional being. Ra states that he is a Social memory complex which is a large group of completely integrated souls. The first book is 226 pages while the second book is 133 pages.

The group contacted Ra Jan. 1981 and the books were published shortly after that time. Book 1 starts with an introduction by a couple of the group members which last 52 pages. There are also 11 pages of pictures showing the groups living conditions as well as the preparations for the channeling.  Following this are 26 sessions in book one and 24 in book two.  Each session consist of a series of questions from someone in the group (usually the same guy) asking Ra a question. Each session usually consist of one or two main themes. The channeler is unconscious on a bed. Book 1-4 are all written in the same way. The Law of One Book V: Personal MaterialÐFragments Omitted from the First Four Books, is exactly as the title states, sessions that were omitted for personal reasons.

The sessions from these books can be found on an official website. It also let you browse questions by category      http://www.lawofone.info/
As you will see this is a very popular series, study materials, forums and other links can be found on the site.  There is a huge variety of topics discussed in this material. (mostly metaphysical)

I know this is an old post. But it may help someone looking into reading The Law of One series...
Start with  the study guide and glossary. They are really short. This gets you familiar with the terminology.
Then you could read Secrets of the UFO, it's the "prequel" or jump into the books. You may want to read book 5 first also. Because there
are a lot of definitions and explanations of events etc that would make sense of the other books if you knew them. I guess you could
say it ties everything together.. but you miss a lot if you don't read book 5 first, cause you don't know what the h3ll they're talking
about.
Also, the "alien" is a 6th density, not dimension.

My favorite is book 4 hands down. Although book 1 is really good. I like that book 4 went through the history of creation, why the veil of
forgetfulness was instituted etc.. basically the big picture. Book 1 has more to do with whats occurred here on earth.
It's brought a lot of closure to my being..

Ra said "harvest" will occur in 2011, and that they also built some, if not all, of the Egyptians pyramids.
So if you believe in Ra, do you believe in what they have to say about those two topics (harvest and pyramids)?

You guys should check out a book called "The Stargate Conspiracy".

I don't think I would trust Crowley as far as I could throw him for my eschatology.

Actually the questioner brought up 2011...

Questioner: Am I to understand that the harvest is to occur in the year 2011, or will it be spread out?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an approximation. We have stated we have difficulty with your time/space. This is an appropriate probable/possible time/space nexus for harvest. Those who are not in incarnation at this time will be included in the harvest.

Do I "believe" in Ra? I believe anything is possible in an infinite creation. The Ra material is just another piece of the puzzle in the understanding of the infinite.
As I read it, the harvest is just a graduation of souls. I.e. moving up to the next level in density. Those whom have not progressed enough, move to another 3rd density planet to continue their progression. This is similar if not the same as the writings of Dr. Newton in the Journey of Souls books. Both books have many similarities in the description of afterlives, for example the one known as 'Hitler is in a place of healing', also describing the progression, structure and  such are very similar. So, I see two different sources, written about the same time from different locations with similar stories. The puzzle pieces fit (to me), thus allowing me to see the bigger picture of the creation.  As for the pyramids.. don't know who built them. I don't exactly recall, but Giza may have been the one they claimed to build, and helped or showed them how to construct the others. They also claimed to produce the original Tarot (major arcana). It that true? Do I absolutely "believe" that? I can't say yes, and I can't say no. I haven't studied them to give an opinion.
I can say this. The Ra material was a fascinating read.

Thank You personalreality! I will add it to my list!  :-D

That book disputes the claims of the book of law and it's source as part of a conspiracy started some time before crowley had this revelation.  it involves a group of extraterrestrials called the group of nine (the pantheon of egyptian gods), who later took on other names like Ra, Tom and even Atum (the Egyptian equivalent of Brahman).  Different groups channeled these entities with seemingly fantastic results.  However, when you learn the details it seems more likely that they were made up to further some plan (ultimately involving the US government and others) to either prepare humans for an actual extraterrestrial arrival or to manipulate us into believing that such a thing will happen to make a us vulnerable and more easily controlled.

Bottom line, if you really like the book of law, don't read the book I recommended, it bashes all that stuff pretty hard and the research is legit so it would be hard to argue.

Being critical of someones work is fine with me, as long as it's legit. I have no deep interest in the pyramids etc..
So if they prove they are a fraud, all the better for me, I just remove those piece(s) of the puzzle.

I found the book to be very well researched, very sober/lucid and very reasonable.  They try not to jump to conclusions and even if they seem to be presenting slightly biased information it's only because that's what the evidence implies.
