Title: 3rd person dreaming
Post by: starjasmine88 on August 28, 2003, 13:09:26
I don't think that I ever did. I only went as close as watching myself viewing a video and asking questions. My "clone" asked the question; I did not get to ask on my own. I was not an active party in the dream: my projection was.
I think and hope that u can get the picture. Usually, I reply to people in dreams.
[:(] I wish that I can learn more actively in dreams.

No it's not wierd.  I dream in first person mostly, third person some times, and even more rarely both at the same time.

But i think there is a reason people dream in the third person.  I can't currently remember the links I had to the dream sites, but I will look them up and come back with more information.

For me it is somewhat common. I find that in many of my dreams I will shift between both 1st and 3rd person, usually within the same dream.

i have dreamed in third person a lot of times... usually those dreams are a mix of being in 3rd person and 1st person... it switches back & forth.  one minute i'm watching things like it's a tv show or movie, and then suddenly i find i'm in the scenario, as one of the "characters".  this usually happens seamlessly, where i don't really notice the switch until i go back and think about my dream when i wake up.
