A dream...

I just had a dream the other night, and I was simply wondering if anyone who was versed in the meanings of dreams could tell me what they make of it.
This is simple curiosity on my part. :)

I had a dream in which two armies were clashing, and the world was corrupted, poisoned somehow.
Suddenly, something happened, and I was standing on a cliff overlooking a huge rocky desert, near where the two armies were.
Somehow it was concluded that I was the designated(?) one, and I stepped onto a platform.
The platform began to move, and it took me through a tunnel hundreds of feet above the desert.
The tunnel was more like a hallway really, with walls and a ceiling, but no floor.
The walls had gaps in it - it was as if it was made of bricks, but more than half of them were missing.
I could see the desert far below me.
The platform sped through the tunnel, presumably on my way to see the supreme deity of the world. (God?)
I got a sense that the god was false, and that I was simply a tool - a false one, not truly intended to (save the world)?.
Periodically, the platform would stop at a more solid portion of the walls of the tunnel, and I would be able to read bits of old legends and prophecies tacked to the wall on pieces of parchment.
Notes that depicted the (biblical) history of this world.
Huge brown rocky cliffs showed up before the tunnel curved gently 90 degrees.
Later the dream led to some gardens and such where there were people I knew.
It felt like we were on some sort of field trip. x_X
(Although I don't think that has as much relevance as the tunnel over the desert.)

I didn't explain my dream very well, and for that I apologize.
If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Maybe tunnel may be interpreted as a religion? Missing bricks would mean that it's weakening now, and doesn't have such power as in former centuries. And armies would mean wars between worshipers of the same god(Christian God, Muslim Allah, Jewish YHWH). It's only my interpretation, and because it's your dream, what YOU think about it is most important.
MEAT=MURDER.

I'm not really certain what to think of it.
I'm not even sure it has any certain significance.
It was the most striking dream I've had in a while though.

I have to agree CacoD,  It speaks of religion and societies being demolished, (sucha re the changes we are going through now.), but it does not seem to prophesize anything.  I suspect this dream has a more personal flavor to it then, about what you can look into for yourself that can be learned about and healed for growth to occur.  The missing bricks show personal fragments taken place over lifetimes.  The tunnels are how you normally travel in the dream time and speak of you being in the south of your personal medicine wheel in the warrior.  Warrior speaks of truths beign searched for.

That everything was desert-like speaks of the west of your medicine wheel, the dreamer and dream time.  It speaks of unheard places and the conscious body.  This is why I say this dream is more of a personal nature for you.  It is calling you to look more deeply into what you can heal and grow for yourself.  Hope it helps.  Red Wolf

Your dream reminds me of a dream i had the morning of the 17th this week. I was overlooking a giant dry land, desert like, but without all the sand. I found that i was watching an entire continent, when all of sudden the continent breaks in to two parts. Between them, new ground appears a little lower, and a long (infinite like) wall made of white and black bricks. I walk alongside this wall and see figures on it, I come to a part with three (I think) figures, one is definitely human and another is alien ( the classic - big head, small body). There's a throne in the carving as well, like for a king. I press on a stone in the wall, and like in an Indiana Jones movie, a door opens.

I can't remember more of it, though I know from my jounal that there came a part with a train, possibly inside the wall.

Dreams are lots of fun.

Emil.
My happiness is yours.

RedWolfHealgDrmr -
Could you explain what you mean by medicine wheel?
I have not heard of this before.

Jimmygarn -
Yes, dreams are a lot of fun. ^_^
Sadly... I don't always get enough sleeping time for dreams to come to me. :(
The days/nights that I do dream are quite welcome. :)

Alezunde,

The medicine wheel, aka Sacred Circles is part of traditional Native American Culture, it used for many aspects but is more of a lifestyle and is also used to cosmologically interpret dreams as well.  Try joining my community to learn lots more or click here so see a very basic picture of one!

Native Americans laid them out with stones, we use the 36 stone medicine wheel in our community but some traditions use up to 200 stones!  SOme stones depict the NA clans, others the moons and others yet the anchors or 4 directions plus the 4 mid-winds, NE SE SW NW.  There is so much helpful personal ascension information which can be gleaned from the medicine wheel.  I hope you choose to join our site or learn more via the sun bear link posted.

There is a general link to my community included in my signature at the end of each post if you would like to join our MSN community.  You can also find a diagram of a medicine wheel via google.com, here is a link for a very good  example of a med wheel at sun Bear's site:

Sure hope this has helped you and otehrs.  Hugs
