I've been on vacation this past week, and like on all my vacations, had goofy dreams all week.
Last night was my first night back and had 2 more added. Here's one I'd like to share, as it has OBE elements in it:
I was at a party with lots of people there. I felt I knew everyone except for one woman, who came up to me and a friend and handed us ninja costumes. She said we had to put them on and help her do something. So we do and everyone at the party is pointing and laughing at us like we're ninja-costume-wearing-idiots. She takes us way out into a field in the back yard, points to a large wooden cross (like Jesus was on), and tells us to go there. Underneath the arms of the cross were platforms and on the sides of the cross were large buttons. We both instinctively stood on a platform and pressed our buttons, but nothing happened. So we switched sides and pressed the buttons. The platforms opened up and we started falling though a vertical tunnel made of yellow bricks. As I was falling I thought, "this is the type of feeling I have right before an OBE". But I still didn't become lucid. We fell hundreds of feet and hit the ground inside a cave. Just outside the cave were people that I'd guess were "cavemen". They seemed very primitive. They started throwing stuff at us so I started chunking handfuls of gravel at them.
And that's about it. Wierd, huh?
Woah! That was cool Stookie!
I tried to get different costumes for you but they were rented out. That is wild that you switched sides and then it worked.. what was that all about? Do you think it was just another dream tactic to get you to become lucid? I thought about the Judas thing I've been hearing about lately.
The falling part.... ok, please explain how you can fall without your stomach coming up into mouth? Maybe it did but you didn't complain about it..lol. I'm better than I used to be but I still have the stomach rolling. At least I don't flail my arms like a cartoon character anymore, that I can be thankful for. I'm pretty sure I died falling from a great height at one time or another.
Anyhoo, it sounds like you went back in time as well. I wouldn't doubt though... wild. Did you hit any of them?
Take Care,
Nay

I think that's a good guess. It was one of those dreams where you get up for a second in the morning and then go back to bed, so it was a little more lucid than a regular dream.

It was one of those things where I was lucid enough to know I wouldn't get hurt. Like I knew I was dreaming, just wasn't fully conscious. This happens to me a lot. I fell hundreds of feet, but knew that I'd be OK wherever I land.

I pegged one square in the face with a fist-full of gravel. First he looked startled like he wasn't sure to run or not. Then he looked ticked and was going to attack. And that was about when I woke up because I don't remember anything after that.

Oh yeah, I saw a little about that the other night. I think it's another gnostic gospel? The funny thing about the new story is that it's exactly how it's told in Martin Scorsese's "The Last Temptation of Christ", where Jesus tells Judas to betray him. (Harvey Keitel is an awesome Judas).
I always really enjoy those kinds of "silly" dreams. You just kinda wake up and go...."ahhh, okay". Maybe you have them because your brain goes on it's own vacation when you go on a trip. Or you forget to pack it. I get that some times too when I go on trips.
I think it depends on the kind of trip for me though. The more fun I am having the more likely to have weird dreams. There is less stress when you are on vacation. Or at least that's the norm.
Haha. That must of been cool. I've always wanted to be a ninja.
Hmmm, sounds familiar.
I have also had dreams where I was either a classic black clad ninja or something like a ninja. In this one dream I was also in a cave like setting - busy fighting this ninja woman. It was strange in that we were engaged in full on combat, but I was also trying my best not to hurt her. Almost like I was "pretending" to fight her, but it was definitely a real life or death scenario...
I moved like lightning in the dream. :) It was pretty cool actually.
