short but interesting dream

A week or so ago I was sleeping and then I kind of slipped into that half awake/half asleep state. I was aware of myself laying on my stomach, but also I could see everything around me. Strange, but I found myself in a medieval-looking dwelling, like a huge room with medieval ornaments...it was built of stones and wood. Beautiful actually!  

Well, I have a feeling that this was a glimpse of a past life. Any other ideas? The "dream" felt very real.

Also a few times I had actually been awakened by loud music in my head--it cleared as soon as I woke up. I could have never imagined that kind of music, I`m no composer, but it was totally real and clear in my head. And I loved the tune too! Anybody had this kind of experience? What could that mean?
