So I almost had a fully lucid dream last night. In all my lucid dreams The first thing I remember is being lucid. So i was floating around some tennis courts at my old school. I saw my old tennis coach and floated over to him. I was talking with him and he said that I had been here before. I then explained to him that I was lucid this time, he understood. Then we talked for a few seconds and then I said to him that I was going to go. He asked what I was going to do and I said i was going to take control of my dream and completely change the landscape of my dream. And so i tried, then everything went to black. I remembered to try and spin to regain lucidity. didn't work and I either woke up or went back into a dream, i don't remember.

So I was almost lucid. I just didn't come to the realization that the character i my dream was a construct of my own mind. So i give it a 4/5 for lucidity.

Any tips? or reasons why i just become lucid for no reason?

It seems pretty well documented that many people who attempt OBE on a regular basis also experience an increase in dream lucidity and recall. It's definitely the case for me.

Overall, it sounds like a pretty positive experience and indicates you're going in the right direction.
