Title: An extra day at work
Post by: Tom on April 05, 2003, 16:29:52
It frequently happens to me, too. It is a sign that I am getting too caught up in work. Anything I worry about happening on the job, however, will tend to occur in these dreams. While I was working at a factory the dream was of the equipment catching on fire.

Yeah my friend has those kinds.  She had a dream that she gotfired one time but stayed at work any way and had to deal with a bunch or rude callers.

But mine was different.  It was just a normal day at work.  Nothing went seriously wrong, no major problems, nothing.  In fact I spent most of that shift just doing standard work on the equipment, changing filters, greasing motors, that kind of stuff.

Take it from someone who has the ability to remember sequences of words - after having sufficiently increasing your dream recall, you may remember during the day that you have already dreamed it, beforehand.

The little "A day in the life of" happens a lot to me too... Only... I can fly and blow up people's heads. So, for me, it should be called "A day in the life of MeZergy with SUPERPOWERS!"[8D]

... Just a thought...

The fun of it all.  I got to work an extra day at my job this week.  Sadly though I won't be getting paid for it as I can not prove I was actually there.  But I have all the memories of that extra day, with the exception of driving there and back and going to bed, which is where I woke up.

I really don't like the "a day in the life of" dreams.  I already know who I am, what I do, and I don't need to dream about it also.

My question is this.  What do these kinds of dreams mean?  There was absolutly nothing abnormal about it.  It was just like any other day at work.  What's the point of dreaming about a normal work day, or of any other normal day in your life?
