Are you keeping an active dream journal?  I know it doesn't sound like it'll do any good, but TRUST ME.  The more you write down your regular dreams in the morning, the greater your chances of becoming lucid the next time you're dreaming.

The dream journal also helped me to have OBE's as well.

I found that after a month of using the NEW system of raising energy as described in Roberts book that it became much easier to become lucid. The frequency and intensity of the experience increased as well. I chose a trigger of waving a hand in front of my face to get lucid and this seems to also  raise my energy and often produces a projection. Now I`m trying to gain a little more control cause getting rocketed into another dimension takes some getting used to! Keep trying and all the best...

During the day you should constantly question whether your dreaming and then try and verify that by trying to fly or control your environment.  Try and do this at least once every hour and really question yourself.  This works for me but you have to really question yourself dont just say 'oh yeah this is real'.  Once in a dream i remembered to ask myself whether i was dreaming but instead of saying 'yes i'm dreaming' i just brushed it off saying 'no of course im not dreaming' and went back to the dream. i was so angrywith myself the next morning! http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_angry.gif" border=0>

I have been trying fairly deliberately for quite some time now to lucid dream and I just can't get it! Right away I kept a dream journal which helped out my dream memory, but now my problem lies in actually dreaming lucidly. I have gone through periods of wanting to dream lucidly and having confidence that I will, but not getting mad if I don't. Then eventually I started to get frustrated. Well, neither of these phases helped me in having a lucid dream. I don't know what the problem is, I am kinda aware that I am dreaming, but everything seems so real that my mind takes it all in and I don't become lucid. I have tried saying to myself "i'm going to dream lucidly tonight" and I have awakened from dreams and had the mentality of having a lucid dream and I have walked around all day asking myself if I were dreaming, but nothing works! I am getting kind of desperate. I hope someone can help me, thanks much!
