hi i have recently had some weird experiences ; more of dream states.

i was hoping someone could shed light on weather im lucid dreaming /try to astral project or  if its just vivid dreams and my imagination !

this is extracts from my diary of what has happend.

1. dream.

I was stood in a room full of people armed with guns i was watching ;  a man stood up he said " id rarther be executed then live like this " they asked him how he said " lethal injection"   then he ran out into a corridor .. I ran after him I was crying and so was he ; we got to a door labelled "staff emergency " a person who looked like a nurse was sat on the step on the stairs through the door ; I said to him " dont do this we can do this together " he looked at me and the next thing I knew he was on a trolley been wheeled into a room ; he was shouting for someone called "mary" I was with him ; I was crying badly ; he  said to me " if we could go anywere now where would it be " and I said " I wouldent id stay here with you"  I put my head on his chest he said " your miss populer " ... I laughed and I saw an injection next to him then I said " ill never forgot you" ;; he smiled and then I woke up.

with this dream i knew i was physically awake but i just couldent do anything it was a sense of moving from one dream universe to the other but without any control ; i know u are meant to be able to control ur dreams if its lucid but this felt so real ; i felt the emotion ; i heard him talking i still remember his face.

the second one came the night after.

before this occured i did my meditation with brainwave entertainment and told myself " i will lucid dream " and i imagined where i wanted to be but this happend instead :/

2.
this was not so much a dream as an experience I still try to work out ; after restless sleep from 9pm – 12pm I started to see little white shapes and swirls in my vision ; then it felt like it was sucking me in through my vision I was getting deeper and deeper into this "world" I guess ; then I felt like someone /thing was tugging at my arm ; like my arm was trying to break free and when I looked up my arm was in the air it  just look suspended I couldent move any of my other parts of my body  ; this was then followed by what I can only call an "euphoric " feeling . then i "woke up".

was this my body trying to travel ?

if anyone could shed light on these experiences i would be grateful.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse, astraj!  :-)

For now, if you wish a label, IMO, I feel you were experiencing a Non Physical Reality consciously aware.

The topic of Dreams/Lucid Dreams and Astral Projection has been talked about many times here and many people have their own opinion on what is really occurring. They have come to their conclusion by either reading a book saying this is the way, or by actually experiencing it for themselves many times and deducing what is happening for themselves.

But, I would say, keep logging your Dreams and after while you can figure out for yourself what is really happening. You will start to see patterns and trends emerging. This is when you start getting the "proof" needed to created a your own possible conclusions.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Hi astraj,
Welcome to the Pulse.
Your first dream has other connotations to it dependant on your level of experience.
Are you normally proficient in your experiences, lots of varied non physical experiences where you are in control. These may not have a full physical life memory during them but they will feel just as real?

hi.

in all my dreams i can see ; hear and feel every emotion around me ; they're always so real and vivid i can recall them when i wake up and write them down ... but i can never control them ... they feel so real that it confuses me why i cant actually do anything about them.

i have no "experience" what so ever this has just started happening recently and so i dont know really whats going on as most people say they can "control" what they feel but for me i know im in there i just cant do nothing about it .

thanks for your replys x.

I think you are still in the early stages of becoming aware in your Dreams. The first step is the actual conscious awareness. There is no need to "control" anything. Just be a good watcher for now and keep logging your Dreams. When the time is right, you will progress into a "doer", instead of a watcher.

Like every other new skill in life, there is a progression to be made. But you can't rush it.

Soon you will find you are giving the same advise to another that is experiencing what you already have!

It works by your thoughts. Some of the characters will be created from your subconcious. These are easy to control, you need to have a clear head like in the physical and use a thought of what you'll see them doing next. It needs to fit into the environment presented as a normal action.
Before you go to sleep it might be a good idea to suggest a lesson in controlling and manipulating the environment.
This is best done if you can get to the blackness that feels immense. It has an indescribable depth to it and a feeling of peacefulness.
The basic option is to use affirmations. These are a good way too, you must believe that you are asking an invisible helper and the experience will eventually occur. Any doubts and it's all going to fail. Your thoughts of doubt will manifest. The invisible helpers have been reported on over 100 years ago, we all have them in essence, generally known as guides in the NP or guardians in the physical.
You could find yourself in a sort of school. It may be a familiar place and the one showing the how to will be perfect for the job.
You already have the ties to the feelings of others present. This in itself is useful. You can feel the thoughts and controlling this feeling by changing what you sense until it does change is a big step to learn. It's not difficult but you have to learn to do it your own way.
What works for me may not for you.

It's early days and remembering all the extra senses you have is a job in itself.
Things will progress once you find your footing. When you become good at this the next stages from your initial post will be amazing.
The adventures beat any film you've ever watched a thousand times over.
One step at a time, learn to walk before you try to run.
Patience is required.
