Good morning all

I had a interesting dream this morning and thought I'd share.

It seemed to be some kind of Apt complex on a beach..not bad.  I started out just looking around getting my bearings.  I made my way outside where there was a bar/grill not far from the water.  There were several people there but I noticed a table of women first, they were eating some kind of dish where you had to identify the food and you'd win something.  I sat down at the bar and one of the women yelled over at me that I needed to help..

Next thing I know there is a large white plate of unidentifiable food in front of me with the woman sitting to my left.  I tried one piece of the food and kept wondering where the chop sticks were..LOL  it had no taste btw. I know I said something but everyone just kept talking over me.  I walked away at that point without another word.

I made my way closer to the water and there was a low wall that some people were sitting on, I took a seat next to some younger girl.  I then started listening to their conversation and they were talking about a girl that had died.  They were talking of going to mourn for her.   During this time more and more people came up to the wall, there was now a good dozen people standing around talking about this girl.  

Then a guy came walking up, right away I notice a difference in him...he seemed more geniune, that is the word that comes to mind.  He was really distraught over the girls death.  He shook another guys hand (you could tell he knew some of the people) He was consoling them and upset about the death as well.  I started getting upset and had to keep telling myself.. *you didn't even know her, you are feeling his pain*

Then a older lady with light hair came up to the group and started telling them they shouldn't cry or mourn her because people don't want to see that.  I started getting ticked!    How dare she tell theses people to hide their feelings and that it is ugly to others.  I started to say just that but I couldn't get a word in edge wise AGAIN.... She just wouldn't shut-up. and at this point I was started to see a pattern, a pattern where I was seen but not heard.

So I left from this spot.   I'm a bit hazy on where I wondered to at this point but I found myself in a room with a large wooden table and low and behold who was sitting there but the guy whom I felt was the only geniune person at the wall.  I almost walked right past him, but at the last second did an about face right to him, leaned on the table supporting myself with my hands.  I did this because it brought me pretty close to his face and I wanted him to hear me out. :oop:

We started talking at the same time!  LOL  of course I stopped and let him go first..  He said "I've been thinking about you all day and with all that purple around you I should have been able to find you"   before I could get a word in, my phone rang and woke me up!!  Noooooooo!!  grrr...

The things that were different in this dream that I've never experienced before is, the not being able to talk..LOL  I mean they saw me! but once you got into a conversation it was totally one sided.  And for a squawk box like me, that was frustrating.  Perhaps the dream was trying to teach me to shut-up?  

The other thing that really floored me was the thing about purple all around me.  OOOOOOOhhh.. I just remembered I did have on some kind of large robe or duster with really large pockets.. oooo..this is funny, I'm remembering putting a book of some kind in my left pocket!  it took me a minute to work it into the pocket...hmmm..interesting.  

Anyhoo, I'm quite interested in some opinions about the purple comment.  Was I wearing purple or surrounded by purple?  Ah well... another dream for the books that doesn't make much sense right now.

LOL..I just remembered more stuff..  I think this is what I was doing during that hazy part.  I came across, two girls and a guy and they were going to shoot up!!    OH. wait, I did ask him.. "you are using needles?" and he answered me!  "yes".. then I went on to say something else about it not being a good thing to do..hehe, I'm such a mom..  They were all looking at me but once again didn't say a word.  I just waved and said "I'll catch you guys later" and they said "bye" hmmmm..so I did get talked to.

Nope, probably more about timing (synchrony) People (or yourself?) can't hear or be heard until the right time.

I really like the idea of the book now!

You know, I've over the past week or so been trying to give certain people in my life advice (they asked for it) and they wouldn't listen!  and then when all is said and done, they were like..oh, geez should have listened to you to you to start with.  I hate to say told ya so, but boy...I told them so.  

Usually when I give advice I meant it, and have the confidence that I'm right.  Doesn't happen often but when it does they should listen..lol.  That sounds cocky but I don't mean to sound egotistic..

So an purple aura is a good thing right?  I'm not some crazy purple people eater in the astral am I?

Personally, the only purple aura I've ever seen is in a rainbow fashion about the head. I've read purple is the color of the crown chakra. Off hand, I'm not sure what it means. Ah yes, royalty, and that could explain your robe, Nay. The robe being of the common variety from the way you described it.   ... or... relaxed or leisurely fashion. The purple or crown chakra must be about knowing or intelligence (right brain/left brain?).

Dream guy says:

"I've been thinking about you all day and with all that purple around you I should have been able to find you"

The man wasn't using sight to find you, he was using something else. This is so interesting.

You are right, it is sooooo interesting that it seems he wasn't using sight, thanks for pointing that one out!  I know if I saw him again, I would recognize him right away.

You have me interested enough to pull out a book "Hands Of Light" by Barbara Brennan. There seems to be no quick answers about auras.She discusses color on different levels. It's hard to say what your aura or the purple in your dream is about in that context.

Your welcome Wisp..  You inspired me to have a lookies myself.  I have one book on chakras and thought there might be something in there about auras, but she doesn't mention it at all.  So, I did some googling.

I know that you can't believe everything you read on the web, but boy...this makes me feel good.

Of course I found several takes on it, but they did seem to say similar things.  For instance on one site it says,

Purple: indicates spiritual thoughts. Purple is never a strong point in the Aura. It appears only as temporary "clouds" and "flames", indicating truly spiritual thoughts.

I have to say,  I wasn't feeling too spiritual in my dream, just wanted to help and be heard..lol

Here's another quote from a different site,

PURPLE is the color of higher spirituality and indicates seekers of all types, free thinkers. It is said to be the color of the spiritual eye of the mind. Purple on the right side shows sensitivity, wisdom and understanding, the ability to move freely and to go and get from other colors what is necessary. Very gifted and an achiever. What a fascinating dream!  I wonder whether the purple has to do with your spiritual path, that you are wearing it one your sleeve, so to speak, but it isn't showing the way you'd like it to, which is why the genuine guy had trouble finding you, even with "all that purple."  And this may be why it was so frustrating for you to come from a place of love and concern and not be acknowledged; because people had a hard time recognizing how special you are.  To them you are just wearing a purple bathrobe.  To you, you are bathed in a rich, beautiful royal color.  Just a thought anyway!

I'm a bit rough on the edges, allow my anger to show when I feel it, and speak my mind a bit too freely, but...I say it all in honesty and will bend over backwards for most anyone.   Yet, when I hear these things I wonder..'how in the world can I be spiritual and actually help someone?'  But over and over again, this is what I find myself in....so interesting.

See?  This is why I love these forums!!  I really must try and focus on this man again.
