Hi, for the last couple of days I have been meditating a lot, and I can remember my last 2 dreams from the past 2 nights consciously now, and normally I can't remember my last dream half a day after it!

So does meditating help your dream become a more conscious experience?

Probably yes, but the energy work has the greatest effect for me.

It doesn't really matter what you focus on as long as you do it with every possible speck of intent you can muster, LEft big toe will be fine.

The important thing is to become conscious of yourself bith in the waking state and as a consequence in your sleeping state. What one uses as a means to achive that is irrelevant. It can be anything that shuts down the everyday crap and frees the mind to perceive what's underneath.

Meditation helps you focus your mind.
Its not unlikely that your dreams are more conscious if you meditate,
in fact to me it seems quite a logical consequence. :)
