Hi

I'm not quite sure what you are saying.  However, I might be able to help.

I have dreams where I know I'm dreaming, but I don't do anything about it.  Sort of semi-lucid.  Or lucid, but never logical enough to change the dream, something like that.  With these dreams, I stay in the dream and carry it through.  I'm "me" in the dream, not particularly aware that the physical "me" is asleep somewhere else.

I also have very lucid dreams, where I'm totally aware of the physical "me" sleeping.

Funny the very lucid ones happened first.  Only recently the part-lucid dreams happen.

Personally, I enjoy them both, and learn from them both too.

If you want total lucidity, it's the usual advice - keep a dream journal religiously, use affirmations, think about your dreams on a regular basis, do reality checks frequently and sincerely, will yourself to lucidity.

My very lucid moments just seem to happen to me - but I do think about dreams an awful lot.

Good luck!

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

The dream journal and saying you are dreaming may work for some people, but I never did either, it just sort of 'happened'.
I think it came forth from the desire to change my fate in some of the dreams. Plus my ability to fly is kind of a give-away of the fact that I'm dreaming and not awake (I was able to fly in non-lucid dreams in the past).

And you dont need to say 'I am in the real world'. If you are dreaming you are not in the real world :). You should just stay 'alert' in  your dream. If unlogical things happen (like you enter a building, but the inside is actually an outside location, or a wrong building); stuff like that, that will tell you you are dreaming. Just try and follow your own path, do what you want to do. Eventually it will work.
