instead of explaining my dream ill just ask my question......is it possible for 2+ vivid dreams(and i mean vivid) to blend into one long less vivid dream memory??
Sure. My dreams seem to blend together all the time. I'm quite sure most people's would.
The human brain of course dreams only part of the night, and this in cycles throughout the course of the night's sleep. Other times of night we are in much deeper sleep and really there is nothing for the mind to have to be aware of at all. (I think it's basically like all logical and thinking parts of the brain are 'offline' in these stages.) So of course what we get then are blocks of time without any conscious with the dreams in between. No awareness means no way to notice the lack of such. So... from our perspective we just dream all night. Every dream though is still going to be different from the last. We don't notice the switch from one to the next typically. We just see the whole scene seem to change without us even noticing.
If you sleep a whole night dream a few dreams in that time, by morning, what were once vivid and perhaps even sort of logical (in that dream state kind of way) has probably dissolved into a mumbled mess of images, ideas, and feelings.
It can happen as easy as opening a door. Especially if you don't know what is on the other side of it.
As the others said...
Yes, definitely.
I have read pretty much the same thing Blazewind said. That we dream many dreams and then remember bits and pieces as one dream.
Yes.
It happens often in my experience.

i figured so. i started taking huperzine a supplements 1-2(usually 2)pills a day one in the morning and one at night and my dreams have been greatly impacted. i now slowly wake up atleast once usually twice very slowly during the night and will write down my dreams but some times ill go from one dream setting to a complete other but yet its still related to the first one such as being with a group of people on a lake next thing im spontaneously with that group on a lake doing something different and dont rememeber how and why it changed but everything else is extremely vivid. with that said couldnt that actually be a problem if someone is say trying to under stand there dreams like studying the interpretation of our dreams
Don't forget that depending on how deep you are "focus level" (i keep wanting to say f-stop :-P, I am a photographer too) the content of your dreams if difficult to put into context. A F21 experience must be interpreted very very differently from, say, a F25 experience.

focus level?? im confused explain please........im just curious it makes sense to me that if your wanting to interpret a dreams meaning that if you blend/mesh 2 or more together your not getting the true meaning of them.i use to have the same problem i hve many entries in my dream journal were im unsure if a dream is 1 or many dreams(i over came this with huperzine a if anyone else had or is having the same problem). does anyone agree that this would affect dream interpretation??
also some times i would awake with two dreams remember instead of 2 inside one memory that would be cause by having a dream during one REM period having that memory then once you gointo the next the dream i guess continued or built onto itself that would explain the gap i had from each setting but with that said it possibly may not affect dream interpritation rite??
Ok, what you are asking is akin to, Can I put to different car engines together?
Yeah, sure, I mean, you are going to have to understand how they work, do a lot of rearranging, but in the end only an advanced knowledge of car engines will really explain the "how" to the question you are trying to delve into. And to make matters worse, this isn't a car engine, its this amorphous intangible concept that we can really only talk about in metaphors ans similes. AND its not an agreed upon science yet, it is just emerging as one. Exciting stuff, but it's quite a difficult task you have in front of you. However, it has its rewards. I wouldn't want to underestimate your task.
In the long and short of it, yes, they can be put together, but you are going to have to learn about focus levels, intent, and jeez, a whole other myriad of diagrams, (that are scattered throughout this site) and intangible sensations which only you can learn on your own and connect them to all your previous experiences if you really want the truth about how. Only you can interpret that.
The stickies on the top of each of these boards are great places to start. It's filled with gold. (Hope you read this with an angry tone, its not, nonverbal communication is so difficult in this medium. )
Happy hunting! :-)

i only ask about the focus levels cause if its involving true focus haha ive got adhd and my focus is terrible......but thanks for the response and ill check into focus levels.might come in handy lol
ADHD actually helps with this, remember that the easiest projection method is simply getting lost in your own thoughts as you go deeper.
Sounds like a job for ADHD to me.
