I don't know if 27 has a special meaning, in and of itself.  But 2+7 =9, and nine is a very special number.

Sounds to me as though something is ending, and it's your job to learn how to terminate something properly.

I am sorry to say men are not very good at understanding who they want to be with, when they are presented with choices.  They are much better at realizing who they can't live WITHOUT.  Let him work that through on his own.  Two weeks is too short a time to get wound up with someone who doesn't know what he wants. Back up and give him some space, and don't fall into the trap of being his local "comfort woman" while he's separated from his true love. Don't try to influence his decision; make yourself scarce.  Send yourself some flowers and start going out with other people.

If he comes to your door begging, saying he's through with Ms. 2500 for good, consider allowing him to prove it to you.

Looking for revelations a posteriori is a bad practice, as you will be able to find them anywhere you want, be it Bible or New Zealand TV guide.

There is no significant evidence to suggest any correlation between the volume level and the "secret number 27", so I would suggest you look at the secret number outside of the context of the TV incident.

Right now you don't enough information to make any conclusions, so the best course of action would be to stop speculating indefinitely, until you have more data.

Honestly, that is strange symbolism.  You may want to check for those numbers in dreams you have, if they reoccure, this is very significant.  If you get different numbers, try the lottery.  Disclaimer- if you win the lottery I get 20% or $4,000 USD, which ever is greater []

well, not to spill out my love life to you all, hehe, but last night i realized i really don't have feelings for him, atleast not in more than a friendly way...that's pretty amazing tho, i really have to start looking at symbols in my dreams more closely

last night, i had another two dreams with the number 27 in them.....one of which was that i was running from something, i don't know what, and i came to a brick ledge. i was going to jump, but i noticed a sign by the ledge saying how far it was to the bottom: 27 feet (there was a decimal, but i forget what it was)....the other one was that i was in a bar/lounge, and everyone was playing this game, one that i made up in my dream...i won't explain the game in detail (unless it's important and someone asks, then i'll tell it) but it involved picking up little rocks that had numbers on them, then multiplying it w/ some other rock.  i picked up two of the rocks, and the numbers on them were 2 and 7...this is really starting to weird me out.....do you think i'm just constantly being warned when things are going to end, or something more than that?

Anyhow he tells you 27 in your dream, from now on 27 in your dreams is associated with him. To jum 27 feet down ... is to jump for him probably... which means "to go down", or if you prefer, the dream where you were about to jump 27 feet down, was a dream that was telling you that you are about to "go down" because of him. A dream that obviously is telling you how dangerous is might be for you to follow him or to follow your feelings for him... 27 is now the sign that your dream has given to him and with this number/sign your dreams are telling you what not to do (do not jump 27 feet down= do not follow this friend or you feeling for him)....

This is my own interpretation and you are welcome to accept it or reject it ... Sure if he told you he loves someone 2500 miles away, you should consider he is not serious about you or just too young and cannot control his feelings.... which is the same actually.

You are turning the volume of the TV in your dream to 28, which is just next to 27. The noise of the TV again might be the noise/headache he is giving you and you turn your TV to 28, not 27, because you want to avoid him (you do not even go below 27, which would mean to pass thru "his" number).

Of course you were running away from the situation in which HE put you, running because of him and almost jump because of him again...

Then you are playing a game, with little rocks, a game that probably HE IS PLAYING with you in that sens that he is not serious about you, it means he is playing with you, there fore the  game has again the sign twenty seven, 27, 2 7 .... which is again the the sign for HIM.

As to 3, it is the smallest number of "legs" needed for a basis to stand up; it is also the smallest number of persons needed to have a society (two are either together are against each other and in psychology a third person is extremely important... etc...); etc...

 i fully agree...
ok, i was in my class, which is a mix between english and history.  we usually don't really do much of either, but my teacher, i'll call him mr H, is like a spiritual mentor.  i wouldn't be surprised if he was a part of this forum.  he believes in astral projection, has had obe's b4, and is just an extremely enlightened person. a few months ago, i read a post on here about the mayan 'apocolypse' (if that's the word you'd choose, i just can't think of a better one, hehe) dated for the year 2012. mr. H has faith in that happening as well.
 so he was talking about political oppression of some sort that i won't go into, when he said that he believed that in less than a decade all of it will be over to start anew. that we won't be sitting here on computers, and he looked at me, cuz i had mentioned it before, so he knew i'd understand, and that made me think about the "number-dreams" i've been having.
 the dream i had about the game w/ the rocks separated the two digits 2 and 7 perhaps to show me that it wasn't telling me something about the number 27, but 2+7, which is 9.  i thought about that in relation to the event coming up in less than a decade, and realized that it was in 9 years.  the first dream i had, the one about the tv that i set to volume level 28, was sometime in august or july, maybe june, i don't remember.  i had heard rumors (i don't know if they were fact or not) that the 'apocalypse'(i'll just call it that) was to happen in june, and that's pretty close to the time the 28 turned into a 27. (ie: 10 years minus one is 9 years)... last weekend, saturday or sunday night, i had a dream about the 'apocalypse' to come, and i wrote down some of the symbols in it.  keep in mind that i was lazy and waited nearly a week to do this, so i forgot a lot, but i have faith i remembered what i was supposed to, hehe...

I looked up at the gray sky and heard low thundery sounds.  i'm assuming it was   thunder.  the clouds were moving fairly quickly.

the part of the dream i remember had to do w/ being at a dock by water.  i got in a boat and it tipped.  i didn't drown, but i nearly did.  i'm taking this in a more symbolic way.  i read in the other post that to avoid mass hysteria, the earth's water may be poisoned or something subtle, so that's how i'd interperete that symbol.

my instincts are telling me that this is more than a number having to do w/ this guy...to be honest, i think i just wanted it to do w/ him, but i have that gut feeling most of you understand about this... again, sorry about the length, hehe...any thoughts on this would be much appreciated[|)]

I think it's funny that someone asked about the number three as sidetrack, because 27 is 3 to the third power (3 x 3 x 3)

You can go into whatever mysticisms you want about the number, because ultimately you decide what it means. What you should do, though, when you're dreaming again, ask him directly what it means. Curious, open-ended questions for dream characters/astral beings always produce interesting results.

It's been awhile since I've been on the forum b/c it's been awhile since i've had any experiences.  I haven't had any experiences since my first two, though I've been having many strange turns in my life, and I believe my dreams are trying to tell me something I don't see that's related to my situation. Therefore I believe someone here can help me, atleast to relate my dreams to my life.... I apologize if this turns out to be a long post, but i really do need to know this

    Ok, my situation in short: i was going out with someone who broke up with me 2 weeks later.  he broke up with me because he atleast thinks he's in love with someone who lives 2500 miles away.  i was ok with that to a point, until he told me he still has strong feelings for me.  he isn't the type of person to mess with someone so i believe what he says.  i came up with an idea to help find out who he's supposed to be with (or is better w/, depending if you believe in fate or not).the idea is a little out there, and i won't go into it, unless someone asks; then i won't mind telling you. (that's the basic story, it'd take a long time to explain fully)
    The very night we admitted our feelings for eachother on August 14th, i had a dream. it was that i was sitting on a television surrounded by a dirty moat.  the television wasn't getting reception, and it was loud, so i turned the volume down to volume level 28. last night, August 30th, i had a dream with him in it, and he repeatedly said to me "Secret Number 27" (Even though it's not quite 28, i believe that it's more than coincidence, and that it's related to my situation w/ this guy).  Can anyone explain this to me? i would appreciate it greatly, b/c this entire situation is so confusing
