Creating a Star Gate

Hello,

Is it possible to build objects with your mind in the astral and use them in dreams? I have been trying to construct a replica of the 'Stargate" from the show as a portal for astral projection. I have visualized it a few nights but not projected, but I have dreamt about the base where it's kept. I did not see the artifact per se, but I knew it was the place and the General was there. Here's the dream:

I found myself inside am underground military base. It had an "Area 51" feel to it, and a craft of some kind was launched though I could not see it. I saw a much younger civilian get himself reprimanded by a fairly attractive technician for trying to enter  the launch area the moment the vehicle left. He mumbled something about feeling lightning. She scolded him about touching what he should not and unauthorized environment adjustments. She then turned to me in a friendly way and had me smile at a device, though I think it was really a retinal scan, for an ID card probably. I did not know where the base was but I speculated Colorado. I was about to have some Chinese takeout before I woke up. I did not see the Stargate, but the General from the television version was there.
