we could make a pole votation (is that how you say in english) where astral members would indicate, given a list, with the most common dreams. After that we could see the statistic results.
In the last months my dreams have no specific topic. They still are crazy dreams with amazing things, but no specific topic. This is what i can say related to the last months.
Now, speaking about common dreams on my life, i have 3 main themes:
- flying
- escaping from something (wich may include me flying, in order to escape)
-ufos :)
About flying dreams i will not say to much (see the stick post in the top of "welcome to dreams" forum), only that they are amazing and probably the best, even better than sexual dreams!
About ufo dreams: well, they are just great, because i have nice adventures and/or sensations. Sometimes i have a dream, very real (real here means about the fealings that i have, they correspond to what i would feel if i saw an ufo) in wich i see an ufo flying over the sky; an amazing ufo making incredible maneuvers. This kind of dream is nice because i really feel an overhelming sensation. Just imagine what you would feel if you saw a dream, the sensation of mystery, adventure and atonishment.
Other ufo dreams give me sensations that i never had in my awaking life. I had once an amazing dream (words are not enough) in wich i saw the existence of a bad alien race, coahiting with us since milion years before. I saw there origins and it was amazing.
Now i must go, i will talk later about escaping dreams.
Hey Kaz,
Thanks for the reply.
Your post reminded me about something which intrigues me about my own dreams. I've never flew.
I never had a dream (one i can remember) where i've been able to fly amongst the cloud or into space etc. It strikes me as perculiar because almost everyone i've spoken to has had a flying dream.
I have however been sling shot into the air, thrown off a rollcoaster, taken up in a tornadoe, and slung off a skyscraper. But i've never flown of my own accord.
Your UFO dreams sound inspiring. I can only imagine the feelings you must have felt. I suppose the closest i could get to those amazing sensations is while watching 'Close Encounters of the Third kind'.
I look forward to hearing about your escaping dreams.
Cheers,
Mo.
P.S - Don't know if your a football fan, but imagine you can't escape right now, so good luck on sunday. [:D]
Some ufo dreams are more incredible and with a kind of mysterious sensation, bigger than the movie (3th encounters-Spielberg movie).
Once i had one dream with me in the middle of green and extensive plains. It was night but the sky was not dark because all around me i could only see fire and destruction caused by ufos. It was an apocaliptc dream.
About escaping dreams: in these dreams (bad ones, i dont like it, only sometimes) i see myself runnig away from any bad thing. There are many variations. For eample, once i had one dream in wich the devil, in the form of a women (very nice, dressed in red[;)]) was trying to catch me, to make me bad. I was running away from her, crossing many crazy places, but it was horrible because she was always near to catch me! The sensation is of urgency and great anxiety (not only in this drem but in the others escaping dreams too).

Lol! I only pray for Portugal, because in our first game we loose against Greece, althought we are now much more stronger.
Just recently (about two nights ago) I found out how to end a dream completely.
I have been having these nightmares for awhile now and I was getting sick of it. I knew I was dreaming, but it wasnt a lucid dream because I couldnt control anything happening. It was like I could only see, but I couldnt control my movements.
Anyway back to ending the dream. I got fed up with being chased through my highschool w/ some of my friends trying to avoid some villan from a horror movie. So I saw him come around the corner and I just closed my eyes really tight, the only part of my body i could control. Once my eyes were shut I woke up. I went back to sleep again and it started where it left off, so i just shut my eyes really tight again leading to total blackness and another dream, not a nightmare, occured until I woke up again in the morning.
It might just be a thing that works for me. It seems that is usually the situation. But I did it when I had the dream the next day and it still worked and I didnt wake up. Its like i can stop the dream if i dont like it and change it to another one, but i cant control what happens in the dream only when to stop it.
Hey,
I sure this question has probably been asked before, but if it has i couldnt find it in the archives.
What are the most common types of dreams?
i.e - Teeth falling out, being naked in public.
I'm interested to know what other common dream themes occur in the human psyche.
Cheers,
Mo.
