Hey -
I haven't been here in years. I recognize a few names and look forward to reading over the next few weeks.
I have a variety of experiences, and one in particular does not seem like an OBE, or an LD, or a dream. But it *might* be an LD. This particular experience occurs from a waking state. In the morning, after a full night's rest.
I sense no break in consciousness, my perception is invariably that I am trying to OB but can't, and finally give up and get up to start my day. There are no exit sensations.
Some time after getting up (soon after) I realize that I am not physical. I am in my room, everything looks normal, but I am not physical. At that point I go do whatever is on my "OB to-do" list. Last week I went to England. :)
The reason this doesn't seem like a WILD, is because I always start in my exact locale. I never start in a dream. Always. This is maybe 30 times now.
The reason it doesn't seem like an OB is because - no exit sensations, no entry, and the level of clarity is not as profound as I associate with OB.
So - Do you WILD? What can you tell me?
I can make others and myself sleepy.
I feel that I can visualise very deeply but that the effort keeps me awake. Obviously, I am missing an element of what sounds like a simple dream programming technique.
