Hi Myke, I couldn't resist responding. I'm crazy over LDs. I'm reading a book right now called 'Dream Gates'. It's very very good. It's a guide for the advanced dreamer. He gives wonderful instructions on how to take various spiritual journeys through dreams. He's a shaman at heart. It's so comforting to read, knowing that there actually are people who can accomplish those kinds of things. There always seems to be a wall dividing dreamers and projecters (from people I've known). This guy knows both worlds. ...I'm rambling on! Nice to meet you.

Well, yes and no.  I am lucid about 80% of the time.  I don't have to try any more.  My problem comes in when I am lucid I am not 100% lucid.  Meaning that I am aware, but I often can not change certain aspects of the dream.  So most of the time I just go with the flow.

Same with me. I'd say 90% of nights I'm 80% lucid.
Sometimes I can cange what happens but often I just (subconsciously?) choose to experience the events without attempting to change or direct them.

Lucid Traveller,

Well, I do appreciate a good lucid dream. I have them too, however not as frequently as most of you. I recently got a book called:   "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming"
by Stephen Laberge, Howard Rheingold.

The book was recommended by a friend. I plan on reading it after I finish the AP/OBE books by Robert Monroe. If it's good I'll leave a post.

The book mentioned by lucid dancer sounds good. Maybe I'll follow up with that one.

that's a good book (exploring the world of LD)...i got it when i was first trying and enjoyed it....i have to agree with most of you in the fack that there are intensities of lucidity....my 100% of the time being lucid is mostly the semi (80%) lucid control....i usually don't change anything but may do something i normally wouldn't do (ie: i may be in the store and just casually knock over the soda cooler to see if anyone notices...and they usually don't care)....about 2 or 3 (of around 15 or so) weekly LD's i am totally 100% in control of everything and start changing the scenery, etc. (must be the artist coming out in me).....i pretty much always have the warping to another location thing though (i spin to travel...kinda like the old wonder woman show when she changed)....ok i am starting to ramble again (happens when you haven't touched a computer in 2 days)            where will i go tonite?? unfortunately i won't know for a few more hours cuz work was rough today (ramble....i'll shut up now
...am i dreaming???

i am not complaining but just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them....basically i am lucid every nite, every nap, etc. it has been this way for about 2 or 3 weeks now... i don't even try anymore, it is great......BTW i am new here (1st post) and have a little more detail in my "bio" section of my profile for anyone who is interested......i could ramble on but i must get back to work...
...am i dreaming???
