Maybe your astral double was aware of the black out while floating around and used your dream to comunicate it to you.  Who knows if this is even possible but it makes you think.

That's what I thought first.
I don't see why it couldn't be possible. What makes me wonder is why would I care enough to tell me about it? Unless of course I'm trying to use any and all opportunities to kick my awareness over to the projected body.

Thanks for the input.

I use these instances as a learning process.  Sometimes there isn't any real meaning to these dreams but to teach of the possiblilty.  Your becoming more sensitive to your dreams and to your self.  Looking more "in" yourself and your listening to your double.  Before your know it something else like this will happen again but more expanded and keeps building until something that is different and new kicks in.

I'm having strange things happening like this and it just blows my mind everytime.  So, keep up the learning!

I guys!

I'm not sure if this is the best forum to post this but since it's a dream and not an OBE...

Anyway, I just recalled a dream, semi-lucid as I was aware I was dreaming but didn't control it, I had yesterday (monday) morning.
The dream toook place in a room or maybe a set of rooms where I was making my way accross some cable-like things on the floor. They kept tangling with my legs so it was difficult to move.
Suddenly there was a black-out and all th elights went out. I was left in the dark (I have a feeling there weas someone else there as well).
Just as I managed to switch my flashlight on the llights came back on and I woke up shortly after that.

Now here's the curious part. The dream took place around 10AM so I know I wasn't awake. It's light outside at that time so a black-out wouldn't leave me in the dark.
Later that day my dad called and asked if I had experienced a black-out and I said yes. I knew about the B-O because my CD player switches on after a BO. The BO was apparently a very short one since my VCR hadn't lost its clock.
So did I actually dream the black-out in real time as it happened but dramatized by the different surroundings or was this just a coincidence?

Kinda cool I think. And it seems this sort of weird occurences are becoming more and more frequent.
