Detailed dreams with information gathered.

I have had two experiences in the recent past where I have traveled in dreams to places I have never heard of and gathered detailed information about those places.

1.In the first dream I am floating above a car with 2 working men in hard hats driving and one man in the back who is african american (we'll call him Bob) tied up in orange rope. They stop by a mans house who is angry with them for bringing Bob there, I get the feeling that he is their boss/leader. The men then get back into the car and start driving again. This is when I have an opportunity to glance at the back of the vehicle. There is a crescent symbol with a word that starts with the letter C inside of it (1st clue). They drive for a while and go to a large warehouse where the door opens up and there is a lot of construction type equipment. I glance at the outside of the building and written on the front of it is "JABO" all in capital letters (2nd clue). Also for some mysterious reason after that I was inside of a tavern or bar, a woman sat alone waiting for Bob who never came.

Upon waking I record these details as quickly as possible. I type "JABO" into google and find a mining supply company based in West Virginia. On their very own website I see the crescent with the word Coal after it. This is the symbol for the coal mining association of West Virginia. I have never been to West Virginia, nor have I ever heard of JABO inc. or seen the symbol for the coal mining association. I do not know why these details were present in the dream or what happened to Bob, I got the feeling that the men planned to incinerate him in the warehouse.

2. In this dream I was a student in a public school in Illinois. I know that it was in IL because I asked a student where we were and he responded with "Milton Illinois" or "alton" something with the "LTON" sound in it. In this dream I was a student along with some of my friends here in Seattle,WA. I was a vegetarian in this dream, which I am not in real life, and was being bullied for it at this school. I was also very tardy and consciously skipped class to "hang out" and smoke cigarettes. Again i've never heard of Milton or Alton Illinois but I googled them and found that Alton is a town and Milton is the name of a haunted elementary school there.

Can anyone suggest any actions I could take to put this information to use? I would very much like to know what happened to Bob if he is a real person and help to bring the men who incinerated him to justice. I would also like to know why I was at this school and what I should be looking for when I go back there. When I have these dreams again what should I pay attention to? who should I be asking questions? Anything you have to say is helpful. I want to discuss these experiences with others who are open to Astral Projection and OBE's. Thank you for reading.

Welcome to the forum .  Most dreams are just the mind at play .  It is possable that you did go out  of body  , see a crime , and remembered it as a dream .  If you had more info , full names of the people , a lic. plate # , ect .  If you do go the police with info , be carefull that they dont think you are involved . It is my guess that yours were just dreams and not real events .  desert rat

Desert Rat, I understand that you would be skeptical of these being real life events. However they stand out to me for a number of reasons, because normally when I lucid dream I enjoy things less mundane than middle america crime mysteries and focus more on exploring space, nature, and visually and emotionally healing experiences. These experiences are different from that as I am not in complete control of where I am and what I see, it feels forced upon me. The experience is just as real and I am very conscious of what is going on around me, but it feels as if I'm looking into some sort of window that someone else wants to 'show' me, as opposed to me just selfishly reveling in my fantasy world. I'm not concerned with what the right nomenclature for this event would be as I do not focus so much on distinguishing name-wise between astral projections, lucid dreams, obe's etc. I find that focusing on these terms during an experience causes them to be limited to some extent so I avoid them entirely and just go with what I'm feeling and experiencing regardless of it's label. Have you had similar experiences? or anyone reading this for that matter? What can you tell me about yours? I've been having waking dreams for as long as I can remember and have been recording them for most of my life. These experiences are new however.

I would say that now you have a new puzzle to solve. The NPR always shows itself to me in the form of quests and puzzles. That's what always keeps it interesting!

Szaxx I've searched furiously on the internet for any news article related to these events but to no avail. With the first dream I suspect the victim was incinerated and so is probably a missing persons case if anything at all. I've searched missing persons databases to try and find a match but have not. In the second dream there wasn't really anything of significance that happened that would be searchable on the internet. I'm not sure why I was shown this place but I don't think it has anything to do with a crime.

Think on the first scene,
The time of year,eg, leaves on trees, snow on ground...
Time of day from shadow length.
Even the smells.
Next is as theres nothing to find (yet), search the associated FEELINGS you had and what was not obvious or present, that you KNOW. A business deal, drug barons, anything like that.
Make a list in order if possible.
This can be done mentally if your clever enough but take notes of the findings for a possible future record.
Simple things like car or van colour count too.

 NPR = Non Physical Reality. This name basically states where we are going and negates the use for terms and arguments over whether it's Dream/Lucid Dreams or OBE's. Everyone can agree it's non physical!  Thomas Campbell is famous for this analogy.

It is a belief that we all go out of body during certain parts of sleep , but most only remember as a dream .   Like I stated it is possable that you did see a crime .  Unless you had the full  names of the people invloved , I dont know if there is much you could do .  You might check the web sites for the t.v. stations in the area that you think this happned , to see if any crime like the one you saw in your dream did happen .desert rat
