Domed Ceiling - Room with 'All The Answers'

Hey Gang..   :)

Here's one that's just a fragment, but I thought I might mention it because of the specific way I was able to move from the dream to lucid dream state.

Quote
I'm inside large museum-like building with light grey walls and I'm taking a tour.  I've also just been to one room that 'contains the answers to everything' - literally - but I'm not there anymore.  (sorry, I didn't bring back any answers - lol)

Anyway, I'm standing in this large room/hall and somehow I remember that one of the clues one can use to flag the fact that one might be dreaming is 'if you happen to be under a large domed ceiling. - -

I have no idea where this idea or memory comes from.  It's just there.  Perhaps I read it on this site.  But whatever the case I'm reminded that when one finds themselves standing under a domed ceiling you should do a self-check to see if you're actually in a dream.

Well, I did that and found that - yep - I was in the dream state.  The second I realized this, however, instead of just going with it I decided that I was going to try to astral project.  - Unfortunately, in doing that I think I just kinda messed it up. - - I wound up sitting up in bed just a little bit and in my attempt I forced my eyes open. (duuuuhhh)  And when I did this I awoke.

Interestingly, as I did awake I audibly heard an odd sound.  It was like a light 'krinkling of bells." - As soon as I made it to the awakened state the sound stopped.  I'd guess I heard this sound for about 3 seconds.

Anyway - might anyone be able to comment on the domed ceilings and/or the sound?  I've never heard this sound before and for the life of me I can't remember where I got this domed ceiling idea.

Thanks..  :)

JK,

Dome ceiling dreams are very significant! I need to develop a quick reference to my dream journal, my memory will have to do.

I've had 2 such dreams. One dream suggested that there is an act for orchestration of events. This is similar to the ideas of synchrony (often called coincidence mistakenly). Music on stage which suggests the same thing (harmony).

The other dome ceiling dream involves me spanning the area of the dome. There was a dark window on the ceiling. While looking through the glass window at the darkness, a few large popped popcorn fell against the glass. I had the strong feeling of being watched, and being a source of entertainment.

Two of the most significant dreams I've ever had involved the sitting up in bed while awakening from a dream. The odd thing about this is that I was not really sitting bolt upright from those dreams (at least one of them to be sure!). The truth is that it was the opposite direction, not from behind(from a lying position), but from the front and landing from the astral TO the sitting position. It took me two times to figure this oddity out. The first time it happened I was not familar with astral projection. It did FEEL like I was sitting up quickly from a lying position. It wasn't until I had the second significant dream (years later) that I was not returning to my physical body, because I had my physical (?I know) with me on these journeys!

I believe this happens more often than is thought. I have to wonder....who is occupying while away?

In a nutshell about these two dreams:
1. A visit to my deceased relatives. I returned not remembering anything except for the fact that I missed them enough for my emotions to surface enough to cry about it and FEEL the missing of them.
2.A visit to a high astral place REAL. I was there as physical as my daily waking life. I was disoriented, but I was able to figure it out fast. It was because of this I was not permitted to stay long in this realm, imo.

After this second dream, my daily physical life changed drastically!

From what I've learned so far is that these sounds (bells being one sound) hint at what level in the astral you are. It also may suggest or hint at the communication form you will receive.

I suspect (if you havn't already :D ) you answer the door to yourself...and...answer phone calls from yourself.

Hey Wisp...  - Thanks for the feedback.   :)

You remind me of a visualization I had one time.

In it I'm looking through the eyes of my inner child.  There is a football game going on.  Only 3 seconds are left to win.  It's the Superbowl of Superbowls.  I'm playing quarterback.  Oddly I realize that I'm the only one on the field who can catch the ball. - The ball is snapped.  There is a paradox.  The mind stops.  Then all of a sudden it came to me."

The moral of the story?

"It's a game.  In the end you spin a football."

lol  -   :P

You

This sounds to me like that Archive place with all the books... all the answers.

Of course not all answers would be recorded in the Akashic archives now would it? It only contains human experience, and if all answers were found in human experiences... well that's just silly.

Yeah! That's something like it.  :D

Huh?

If you see it that way? I think of it more of....meeting oneself coming and going.   :)

Hey Wisp...

I was worried that might not make sense.. lol.. It may be one of those stories where you just have to have been there, and likewise I may not be doing a good job of telling it.

But whatever the case - I can add this.. which may not make sense either.

Tips on meeting one's self.

If you ever find yourself walking down a highway and a man pulls up beside you in a white pick-up truck and offers you a ride, you better get in the truck with him. - He's likely to be the only one who believes ya..

Likewise, if you ever find yourself driving down the highway in a white pick-up truck, and you see a fella' walking down the side of the road with a lot of feathers sticking out from behind his ear, you better pick him up. - He knows where you're goin.

Real funny JK. I didn't get the white truck (why?) and the feathers?
It doesn't sound good though. :)

J.K.

Hey wisp..

I'm not really sure about the truck.  The feathers, however, are supposed to be a symbol for 'lessons learned.'

Like many things, I'm not sure where the saying comes from.   It's just one I've known since I was a kid..

Hey J,

As a rule I'm not one to consult dream dictionaries as I think they can be a bit "two-dimensional" in their interpretations.

That said, I've got four of them   and according to one, if you dream of a museum then "Your social life will be fascinating and your opportunities will expand."
