Dream in a dream of a obe

Ok I was lying in bed and closed my eyes. Then started counting backwards from 16 relaxing even more with each breath and each count backwards.  I got to around 8 and felt vibrations and heard almost a freight train sound. Then I could see the wall but my eyes were closed yet I could still see. I was questioning weather I really had my eyes closed so I open them and snapped out of it. My eyes were closed but I could see right through my eyelids like they were open. So I started the count again and once again around the 8 count I got the vibrations and the loud noise and vision through my eyes. I was thinking this is it I need to get out so I rolled and part of my came out but I couldn't get the rest to roll out. I struggled hard and pulled on the edge of the bed and more of me came out. I could now reach the night stand I pulled more and after a lot of struggle I fell out of my body onto the floor. I was out! I stood up and though I did it, I finally did it. So I turned so I could see my body lying there and when I looked there was no me. Then I realize I must of dreamt it but now I was awake. But then I actually woke up again to realize I was just dreaming about the dream. So I was dreaming "that I was dreaming" that I was in obe!?

You're were doing fine, until you expected to see you body there in bed. But not everone will see that, so just keep an open mind to it. It may differ from person to person. I think you were having an OBE, then you expected to see your body which wasn't there, you got a bit confused and thought you were awake and that ended the experience. So next time when it happens you can do a reality check, push your fingers into your hand or into a wall, to be sure you are out of body and don't look at your body/empty spot.  :-)

Thanks but I don't consider it a successful obe yet because I only got out of my body while I was dreaming inside a dream that I got an obe. It was a dream inside a dream, kinda hard to explain it to people. See first in real life I fell asleep and was dreaming I was in this house and layed down in this bed and started to try an obe while in this dream that is. Well I actually did it but realized during this dream scene that I was only dreaming of the obe even though it was so life like in the dream. Then I wake up again for real this time and recall the above events in my c1 life.

First, people have to stop limiting themselves with that kind of thinking.  The simple fact is that it IS an OBE.  It doesn't matter how you got there.  :)

Secondly, I'm a firm believer that you can't "dream of having an obe"... why?  Because "dreams", "lucid dreams" and "obe/ap's" aren't something you do, they are something you are.  A "dream" means you're in the non-physical and unaware of that fact... an OBE means you're in the non-physical and you have your full waking awareness (like right now).  You can't be in the non-physical and know it, but also not know it.  It's one or the other... not both.  If someone is calling what they did a "dream of an obe"... then it just *was* an OBE.
