Vivid dream, hopefully NOT prophetic!

I woke up this morning to a VERY vivid dream.  I have been having dreams lately about tsunamis... until now these dreams have been generalized, as in the location was not specific, though I was always there to witness it.  It always felt like some future event.  The dream  awoke to this morning was specific, it was the country Turkey.  Why Turkey?  I do not know... I have not seen anything in the news lately about Turkey, it is distant to me (being in North America) and I would not just randomly think about that country for no reason.  So why did I have a very vivid dream about a tsunami hitting Turkey sometime in the near future? Very weird. 

I did do a bit of research, and Turkey is not immune from tsunamis... and in fact has been hit before in recent history... 1999, there was an earthquake in the vicinity of Northern Turkey, causing a localized tsunami in the sea of Marmara.  Now, prior to searching on google for tsunamis and turkey this morning, I did not know about this event... well I might have heard of it back in 1999, but since forgotten. 

I really hope that my recurring tsunami dreams are NOT prophetic, and were just some random ideas floating around in my brain!  But, they have been frequent lately.

Few months ago I dreamt of a tsunami, with waves tall enough to reach the 40th floor of a building, in New York City.
