Drugs as a dream symbol???

Does anyone ever dream about drugs???
I know it sounds strange but last night i dreamt i did some cocaine!!!! I dont do cocaine and i never have, so it just seems strange to me. Its not the 1st time its happened either.
I know that events in dreams are sybmolic, so im thinking that drugs may represent an "altered state of conciousness" (as thats what they do in the physical). Do you think that these dreams are msgs from my higher self telling me i should meditate more (mediataion being an altered state of conciousness)?

Perhaps your deeper mind was simply expressing a desire to alter your consciousness.

Also... maybe your mind knows that you can change your state by taking drugs such as cocaine.  I once heard that dreams can basically be a EBS (emergency broadcast system) meaning it "rehearses" situations to test them out.  You may have an unconscious wish to do drugs... but alot of people probably do... so don't worry about it.

I feel there are numerous ways to alter ones consciousness without drugs.  Fasting is one of the oldest rituals there is...  and it definitely changes your perception of reality... for example.

Use your imagination... not drugs.  Have fun.

I dont know really. I dont think it means anything to me.
All i know is its like really addictive!!
As i say, ive never done it, so i cant figure any relevance to me.
Maybe im just used to dreaming about things i do in everyday life.? i.e not cocaine lol.
