Dream of Scientifically Detecting the Astral Realm

Man that is a cool dream Beth, but it might not be able to work.  If the machine was able to pick up the voice from the astral it would be great and it would be proven to everyone that there is a 'life' after death.  But I think that some would still be sceptic, that is just how humans are.  A way to do this without someone already being dead would be to have the person not be at work and project into the real time zone and try it from there.  It might work or not since isn't it hard to have the astral interact with the physical?

That's a pretty interesting dream but just because a voice is heard doesn't mean it's coming from the astral. If a person has been in a place some time in the past then maybe it would be a temporal issue with the location in question not an astral happening.

I've been having kinda weird dreams lately too.

This is an interesting dream. Technology(metal/plastic,equipment in this dream) tends to be "man-made"or "Beth made". Creation for problem solving or wishful thinking/dreaming. Personally I think anything is possible. True contact with the deceased is not likely at this point. Although,down the line, who knows? You, being the dreamer, makes it possible.Your the spirit.
Until then, I suspect it's instinctual impressions as the source of the unknown voices (What is the instinctual nature of the human compared to animals?). Matching the voice and image of "employees", your synchronizing. This is great! The thing is, in your waking life you can most likely match voices to the face (or not). Matching let's say a writer to the face may be more challenging. Your unraffling things, this is a good dream for this reason. The mechanical affects leads me to think your on the right track. I hope you have some more dreams like this to share.
There is a connection with magnet and the hope and/or possibility of spirit contact(real or self created?). Magnet can also suggest polarity. Does this seem electric or emotional? Your emotion is perhaps coming through the tape (proof?), your ability to pull the instinctual of the human condition to you, thus, imprinted.
Breech of security is a paranoia or fear (a feeling,in a controlled setting). This is something science doesn't recognize as rational (or real). But, actually this is where your probably on the right track. This seems to be for your exploration, not necessarily someone outside yourself coming to you.
The archives make me think you have tapped into the akashic records. No matches at first makes me think of the true nature of the way humans discover things, "Oh my, look at what has fallen into my lap!." When actually, you have already "created" it.This is the "stir". Your playing out a drama of discovery.  The production of "the trend" of voices is a mechanical action or response (your production). Human and spirit? Good stuff Beth.

That was some dream! There is currently a lot of inroads in biometrics and voice-recognition technology. A number of companies are involved in this. Some are developing new methods of reproducing speech for the blind, for example, and others focus mainly on security for corporations and government. The latter uses all kinds of biometrics such as fingetprints, voice recognition, reading the eye, and so on. Magnetic resonance is related to this field as well.

Your dream takes all of this to the non-physical level which is fascinating. It is as if a "medium" of technology could be used to access the higher vibrations of those living in the non-physical world. Thus, we in the physical would "hear" the "voice" of a non-physical being, rather than the telepathic method that they must use with each other. In a way it is like substituting a technological device (in place of a traditional medium) which can detect and translate the higher frequecies of the non-physical.
