My dream

Last night I was having a weird dream involving alchemy for some reason. I'll try to post as much as I can remember.

I was traveling down a road and then I came across a village. The houses were sort of run down but I think there were people walking around outside carrying things. I walked down the hill towards them to see if they needed any help for some reason. I think they said they needed money because they were very poor. Then right here is where I can't remember anything. The next thing I remember I was on a mountain thousands of feet above the village, I turn around and there they were following me. They said they needed money and dropped silver and brass to the ground asking me to transmute it into gold. So I told them I didn't know how five times because they wouldn't listen. Then the last time I told them that they turned around and went back to the village. I think I then tried turning the metals into gold and turned 25% of it to gold. They turn around and see it as I'm walking away and they take it all back to the village.

That's all I remember other than me continuing up the mountain. So does anyone know exactly what this dream might mean? I'm just curious because in real life I know hardly anything about alchemy, but in real life I heard of a way to turn lead into gold. So does anyone know what it means?
