As a child I used to have a recurring dream. What I remember of it is there was what I would call a big spaceship that had landed in a field I was in. Loads of people came out who 'someway' looked like me. They told I was part of their 'family' and they'd come to take me home.

Anyone have anything similar to this or reasons as to why I did?

I think it's difficult to interpret other people's dreams, especially when you know nothing about them and their childhood. I believe many recurring childhood dreams have to do with the child's fears, insecurities, and wishes among other things. I had many recurring childhood dreams that I did not remember I had until the next time I dreamt them but I never analyzed them too far.

Maybe it had to do with your future. I started writing my dreams in middle school, after a close friend committed suicide I went back and found recurring symbols in past dreams of people dying at their own hand. I was so angry that I had not seen this tragedy coming when's dreams spelled it out for me.

No, I haven't experienced that type of dream yet. But, I liked your dream of big spaceship.
