That sounds familiar. I am taking a chi kung class in my sleep. There have been dreams that I used to have of getting jobs and having to quit them after realizing that it was just dream-jobs which I was unlikely to return to. There was a museum several years ago which I went to to study things from school. Some authors say when you dream of having been in a place before in other dreams that it is not real. They say it is not possible to have dream-body memories separate from waking life.

Recording dreams is always good. It helps with picking things for reality checks.

hmm.. so what is occuring then? If my dream body can't have memories.. why is this place always so familiar?

The memories are there. I know the experience, too. It seems more like the dream is remembered on waking up and immediately forgotten, but that is was stored successfully on waking up. Then the location or situation is repeated in another dream. I think Robert Bruce said that there is only one copy of the mind which thinks and has all of the memories, and that everything else is a copy which separates and is later re-integrated. Not a separate body. Then there are all of the yogic teachings which say we have several bodies on several planes all at once simultaneously. You will have to choose which explanation to believe at any given time. I use both, depending on what is convenient at the time.

My past dreams have been incredibly involved and detailed, way too much going on, thoughts flying through my dream head, so on, to accurately convey what was going on.. but something I CAN describe, is that the setting has been the same for at least a good portion of each of my dreams the past few nights, and I rememmber dreaming there before..

its like a weird, mall, school, social hangout, place... and ther are always lots of characters for me to interact with... I think i definately have to start practicing a dream journal to get htese dreams out.. they are strangely involved than the dreams im used to having.
