False awakening

I was having a series of dreams and at the end of one 3 bees were on my feet and I couldn't get rid of them. Then I woke up, looked at my legs and said "That was in the previous dream". I wanted to go back again to sleep so I can dream more, but I saw fresh food on my desk and thought about eating it. I went infront of the desk and saw the youtube page open and some videos, all of them were blury except one, it was about two games and I can remember two words from the title "Controversy of...", after that I woke up. I know it was a false awakening because that's what I do everyday, and I really thought I was awake at that moment.

My question is: why did I say "That was in my previous dream?", was I knowing somehow that I was dreaming?

In some way you did realize... it just doesn't sound like it was a conscious awareness of it.

With that said...
It's REALLY HARD to notice those shifts in our non-physical experiences (be it a dream, projection or whatever).
They catch me off guard quite often... I'll be having a non-physical astral awareness experience and the scene will shift to me lying in bed, and I will have thought that I woke up!  ... only to find that I wake up again shortly after.  LoL

Like Xanth said- "In some way you did realize..."

I think it's a good sign of progress in the development of your Non-Physical Awareness/Personality. Even when that awareness seems to be operating at a 'reduced' level you begin to see how it is somewhat independent and capable of operating without your complete attention.

The three bees, the fresh food, the blurry YT videos...those were Dream Triggers inviting you to raise your awareness and become conscious in the NP. Check out my Dream Triggers sticky where I went through something similar. There are some really good, insightful comments that made me think harder about my NP personality.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
