Hi,
From my own experiences with fevers one of the common themes in my dreams when I was very ill (appendicitis) was mainly concerned with repetition.

In the dream that was taking place when I had a very bad fever I was floating high above a warehouse watching a young girl dance continuously around the street surrounding the building, she was singing this awful repetitive song, no words just a La, La, La, La type of childish song, it just seemed to get louder and louder and more monotonous.

When I became conscious I looked to my left from my bed and in the doorway I could see a man stood there, this vision definitely had more power and realism than the aforementioned dream, I panicked upon seeing the figure, staggered out of the bedroom and fell down the stairs, that was the last thing I remember before ending up at the hospital.

On one other occasion after catching a very bad chill I was passing in and out of consciousness I could see a sparkling cloud of gold dust at the foot of my bed, it had the appearance of these vast beautiful gas clouds that one sees in photographs of deep space, obviously on a much smaller scale though! I sensed that it had an identity like it had it's own character, at the time I thought it was an angel perhaps.

I have experienced the 'warm wind' sensation that you speak of too, personally I think that in the extremes of fever I became more open to varying states of consciousness, and even closer to the spiritual realms in times of grave illness, certainly in the first example as I was later told at the hospital that I could have died if I had not gotten to hospital sooner as the appendix had burst.
'To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.'

Yes, I had a prolonged fever. Since you mentioned it, I do recall some weird dreaming.I can't remember them. I had some weird ideas too. About the same time my sister's pet rabbit was down with puemonia. He had been chased to the point of exhaustion by a pack of neighborhood dogs. For some reason I had it in my mind that if the rabbit dies I'm was going to die too. After days of progress reports of the health of the rabbit to my own sick bed, the rabbit died. I remember telling my mom good-bye. [:)] oops....still here.

Another interesting thing about this two week sickness (kidney infection), I was saying something to my mom afterwards about it. I made reference to being in one my sister's room during this illness. She said she don't recall me spending the sick time in that room! That is weird! This put alot of doubts in me about where I was during this time. It's the only place I remember being during this time!

I'm adding this note:
It bothered me that I could have had a false past memory.I asked my mother again about this illness time. She said after I had brought it up to her, she did more thinking about it. She then remembered that I did spend time in the other room while I was sick(she added I went back and forth between two bedrooms, and she wondered why I did this).I also asked her which direction the bed set in this other bedroom. The bed set in the right place for me to have really(physically) been in it. I have discovered that if I think keenly enough, some memories are oob memories. If I can place where my point of view is from it, it clarifies things a bit. For instance, if I'm in bed the opposite direction, it's was an oob. I've discovered I have sponaneously oobed during my life. It's so cool to have reached this point of realization. I wonder if this doesn't happen more often than we think to everyone!? It sure puts a different prospective on past events!

I recently became sick, and the reasons are unknown. I think it was some virus, but im not sure. Anyway, when i was ill i started a medium/high fevor of about 103.5. during this time i would fall in and out of sleep, and having vived dreams each time. all of the dreams were horrible and nightmarish, with common themes of suffocation and claustrophobia, it was really bad. I had one lucid dream on a fevor and i was walking through my house in the astral then everything went black. it felt very very hot all around me and i could feel a really warm wind blowing. If i tried to move it felt like I got slapped in the face by a bright light. i got up right after walked into the bathroom to get a drink of water. then i had an extremely powerful energy sensation in the root chakra, but it immediatly cured my headache temporarily. it was wierd. does anybody else remember anything wierd happening in their dreams during a fever, and what do you make of my Lucid dream?
