Heh.... Imagine, being a 12-16 year old male, haveing to hear full blown conversations of 2 voices stuck with you, one being a loudmouthed/semi-perverted male voice, and the other being a distraught female voice, open to share her oppinion to anything you see or hear, or anything the other voice sais...... you want cryptic, and confuseing?.... Bam!, there you go.... heh heh...

Hi all!

In my last post I inquired about inducing WILD without the uses of Gotu Kola or Hemi-Sync tapes. Thanks silva for the advice about the questioning and dream journal; I find these enhance the overall dream recall and quality of dreams.

Over the past few days, I have created a method for experiencing this naturally. I have collected every practise of trance, relaxation, etc. that I find useful and put them into one method. (not that it is new or anything, just something to experiment around with[:P] Here it is:

* Be involved in as much LD related topics as you can in conjunction with dream recall, journal entries, reality checks, awareness, etc.

Preparation
1. Go to bed as NATURALLY as you can using things such as brushing your teeth and putting on PJ's as cues for the night's sleeping and dreaming. Nothing needs to be forced or "artificial".

Stage 1
2. Hop into bed and settle yourself for a few minutes. When you are comfortable, say an intent or affirmation regarding your wish to have a WILD. Say it out loud if possible and state it clearly and firmly. Really focus on the desire to have a WILD.

Stage 2
3. Begin the deep physical relaxation method (tense and relax method) and use it until you feel very relaxed. You should feel a cozy type of sensation. Your WHOLE body should be free of tension before you continue.

Stage 3
4. Induce the trance state by means of a mental falling sensation. Really feel as if you were falling off a cliff or something, just feel yourself falling. This step is not necessary but it will greatly enhance sleep which will make you forget about your body. You've reached a perfect level when you feel the "warm-and-fuzzy" feeling and a physical exhaustion as if you were lifting weights all day.

Stage 4
5. By now, you'll know you've reached the proper state when your body goes numb and your head sort of feels as if it were separating. Hypnogogia should be present so use this to visualize a scene or even a simple, 3D geometric shape. The idea here is to make the image as real and life-like looking as possible. This should not be hard to do at this level of consciousness. Once you arrive at a nice realistic picture, try to enter it by pretending that you are moving inside of it like a video game, or stepping into it like a porthole. Just don't begin focusing on your physical body or lose focus. CONCENTRATE!

Important: It is very important to focus on the task at hand and not to lose focus. Ignore any hypnogogia or use them to enhance your created WILD-scape. Wait patiently and hang on; if everything goes right, you should get there.

Best to use with...
You can use the above procedure when you go to bed at night, or, if you have time, you can use it with the Wake/Back to Bed technique, wherein you go to sleep for 6 or so hours, wake up in the early morning (around 4-5 am) and stay awake (get out of bed) for 15-30 minutes, and then go back to sleep. The chances of getting a WILD or a regular LD are VERY high, so this is recommended.

I have not yet had a WILD with this procedure but have come very close. Lots of practise is needed so results are definitely not instantaneous, but I believe it is very effective and if it becomes a habit, it can be as natural as plainly falling asleep with no WILD intended.

I have so far experienced up to the far trance stage within this method, and have had VERY intense hypnogogic sounds. I very often hear a mature man's voice mumbling something very close to my ear.
It usually startles me right out of bed, and my body responds with a strong jerk, making me do the whole procedure once more, that is if I am not to frightened to continue. Yes, I am working on overcoming my fear with those sounds. They are by far the most cryptical noises I have ever heard in my life![xx(]

But anyway, I would appreciate if anyone could give any feedback on the effectiveness of this method; it has helped me greatly.
