A friend's flying dream

I have a friend who knows nothing about my involvement in astral projection and lucid dreaming. He told me about a dream he had the other night that I thought was interesting:

He was walking down the street in a strange neighborhood and all of the sudden I was with him. Just appeared out of the blue. And I asked him "hey, why don't we fly?". And he said that's impossible. Then I told him "no it's not, follow me" and I started running full-steam down the street. He said he followed me and when we got a certain speed started flying in air. Once we got up he said I immediately flew away, and that's where the dream ended.

I told him it sounded like a cool dream and we should do it again sometime. I just thought it was kind of interesting.

Did you tell him of your invovlement then? Does he have much knowledge in the field?

He has no knowledge whatsoever. I did bring up lucid-dreaming to him. He said he's had some before but never knew the term. Maybe I'll encourage him to consciously try lucid dreaming and go from there. I find that if you start talking about OBE's to people with little knowledge of them, you get a sarcastic "Ohhh Kaayyyyy..... yeah, I'm sure that happens."

Now that I think back, I did mention my 1st OBE to him years ago and he tried to convince me it was a dream. I never brought the subject up again, but he is aware that I meditate.
