Hello all

I live in Ontario, Canada. A year and half ago I started deep meditation techniques such as Relaxation, Concentration and listening Hemi-sync or brain waves audios. Since my childhood i experienced paralyzation state many times, specially in the morning (about twice a year), but i never knew what it was, and it was really scary.

My first Deep meditation was a year and half ago. It was huge step for me. I felt tingling (more of vaporating) sensation on my back, legs and lungs, that's right, my lungs. I don't know why I had good sensations around my lungs but I did. Then I fell sleep. I don't remember anything after that.

My second deep meditation it was a night time and I wasn't expecting anything really, I just wanted to relax after long working day, I fell sleep during meditation, and then all of Sudden I woke up and found myself in a dream (i called a dream, because nothing else fits its description, now I can say maybe it was a lucid dream)It was soo real and strange. This is how it went:

In my dream I was in a room, and the room looked old, like those bamboo houses near the beaches. It was dark. I could barely see in the room and I knew there is someone in there. I noticed a door on my right and I opened without thinking twice. I stepped outside and the area seemed like a terrace with a fence around it. The fence seemed made out of bamboo or wood. There was enough moon light outside but didn't see a moon, Immediately the door behind me shut by itself or by unseen force, it was so forceful I felt the air rushing.

I walked straight to the fence, before I got to the fence I noticed someone on my left I looked and saw this creature and I was so horrified that I jumped so height. This being was what some people describe as alien. The big head, huge glossy eyes. The only difference was his (I said "he" because I felt it was a male) color which was purple. He immediately changed his appearance to human and all my fears were instant gone. He stood front of me and smiled. I was so amazed how he transformed himself from alien to human, not only that but how I (myself) went to terrifying state to calm or wonder state in a matter of second. He came close to me and looked in to my left eye and said, "You know, you are doing good". I felt that He seemed very surprised that I'm progressing really well. I woke up after that.

Since that experience i had my ups and downs, but i learned many things. We Will discuss those ups and downs latter.

What matters is not what others think it means but what you think it means. There's no right or wrong. Symbology is fine for things that you have witnessed AFTER you have researched symbology but using symbology to define subjective experiences BEFORE you are even aware of those symbols may provide inaccurate definitions and meanings.

Your "self" is delivering a message to you in a way you will be able to understand if you explore the concepts and ideas delivered in the dream. Just like some people use different words that mean the same thing, other people use other words. It's still the same meaning at a base level but for both people there are deeper meanings behind the words they are using.

Only through self examination can you find the true meaning of your own subjective experiences. They are yours and yours alone. For example the fact you mentioned the fence being bamboo as compared to a white picket fence.. for you there is some reason that it appeared like that. What emotions and feelings do you get when you think of a fence like that.. they will be, most likely, different feelings than I would have about the same thing. It's still the same thing.. a bamboo fence but what does it mean to you on a deeper level is something only you can answer.

Don't over-analyse, generally the first thing that you think of is the correct meaning. That is the whole point of your "self" delivering the message to you in that way. If you were going to get the "wrong" meaning with "that" item or whatever being presented, then your "self" wouldn't have presented it to you in the first place. :) It shows you what you need to know in the form you will be able to understand it (provided you examine it beyond face-value).
