Is it ok to get over emotional while lucid dreaming or it that not ok?

Why wouldn't it be 'okay?'  It can be a highly emotional area.  However, I find that I can get more out of the experience if I have my emotions in check when I go.

Hey it's your dream, do what you want! Be careful though, if you get TOO into the dream you'll lose lucidity

It's ok!  In fact, of all the times I met with my deceased stepfather in the Phase state, I have always experienced a surge of emotion as soon as I see him.  Then it dies down as I start interacting with him.
