Couple of Dreams I'm Confused About

not to burst the bubble, but it sounds to me like wishful thinking. you said it yourself:

so it stands to reason that you'd have dreams about her in which your fantasy (dating her) is a reality.

either that or it's your subconscious saying "get off your butt and ask her out you dolt!"

I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I was Forgotten Flame13 on here about a year ago (Now I should be Forgotten Flame14), but I left, and came back a game programmer, and budding debater. You won't see me around much since I don't place much faith in some of the topics on this board, but I'll be around sometimes to present my two bits on the opposing view to try and make you think more. On to my topic.

Recently, I've been thinking about a girl that sits next to me in band more and more. I've wanted to ask her out since the beginning of the year, but never did. In the past week, I've had two dreams about her that I need explained since I think if I try to reason them out with myself, my subconscious will interperet them as what I want, not what they truly are.

My first dream was when I was walking to math. I was talking to my friend and he started laughing about something. It was cloudy, and definitely felt like a Friday. I walked down the slight decline in order to get to math, asked the girl a question, she accepted, then we went inside. After I got inside, we were in language class instead. She sat down next to me on the left, and I remember trying to think of something to make her laugh. Then I woke up.

My second dream was yesterday. We've been passing in our band music lately, since the year is ending, and she sits right next to me so I inevitably talk to her. Anyway, she passed the music over to me saying something like, "Here you go." Then I heard her mutter, "Can you go out with me?" I thought and said "What?" So she repeated it. After I said yes, she wrote her number down on the backside of a check I had in my pocket, and later, my friend Tim gave me her AIM screen name, even though in real life he never talks to her.

Is this really telling me something? Or is it just the hopefullness of my subconsciousness? Laugh at me, pity me for this, I could give less of a sh*t. I'd just like an answer. Oh, how do you guys like my sig pic? Made it myself with Photoshop.
