I've done that when I was a child of primary school age.
I became aware I was lying in bed, dreaming that I was lying in bed having a dream.
The experience was trippy, like zooming into my mind and only finding self dreaming about dreamer-dreaming
Dream within a dream within a dream. 3 levels.

I recall thinking as a child how boring can I get; can't I dream more exciting stuff...
and dismissed the experience without questioning what could this mean?

Many years later, this nursery rhyme is sung/played many times in my presence
reminding, reminding, reminding ...
are you paying attention?
QuoteRow, row, row your boat [light body vehicle/vessel/temple]
Gently Down the stream. [energy current of life]
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, [relishing experiences]
Life is but a dream ...[your senses deceive you, all is virtual reality]

We are spirit, expressing what we will.
We act out perSONAs on our stage of iMAGEination.
We are both the dreamer & the dream.
I think therefore I am.
I am consciousness & potentiality

I can certainly relate to this.  After keeping an awareness on my dreams for many years, I tend to often have false awakenings, sometimes up to five in a night, each one waking up into a different 'body' or 'identity', many seemingly quite physical.  Sometimes I wake into another non-physical body and as a habit, begin writing about the previous dream in my dream journal, or discuss it with other people present.  I've sometimes noticed myself taking notes on dreams that I've never remembered actually experiencing, and even having a bi-location of both being a sleeper in a bed and experiencing another dream.  It's can certainly get interesting.

I was trying to find a thread already talking about this to post my experience as well. I had to go back quite a few pages in this "Sub-Forum" to find it, but I see that some of our other members had experienced something similar as well. Just as with all our topics here and experiences, if you are experiencing something unique and extraordinary, there is a very good chance that others have as well. Last night's experience is definitely one of those incredibly bizarre and extraordinary experiences.

I became aware I was at a live Hockey game. MJ and I were going into the venue and I saw this woman, that for some reason stuck out. We went and grabbed our food and drink and this woman was there once again, just looking in our direction. There were so many other people around that it was hard to tell if she was looking directly at us.

I went to use the bathroom and when I came out she was there right in front of it. Just the thought of using the bathroom in my dream brought up the fact that I had to use it in real, so I woke up, used my bathroom and got back into bed.

Once again, I became aware I was at the Hockey game. But at no time during this experience was I aware that I was actually physically sleeping. That "thought" was blocked from my mind.

MJ and I went and sat down and we were watching the game now. For some reason, I turned behind me to look at the crowd and saw that that woman was right behind my seat. She was very attractive with beautiful eyes. Being at a Hockey game, I had my jacket still on, since it's still somewhat cold, even in a heated Arena.

We were enjoying the game when I felt a hand touch my hip. It was just under where my jacket ended. I then felt another hand on the other hip. It started moving towards my groin area. I apologize for getting X-rated there, but I needed to explain that. I felt rubbing for a moment and immediately felt very strange. I got up abruptly and left my seat, telling MJ I was going to use the bathroom. I was confused. Remember, I was experiencing this just as I would in this reality. It was totally vivid and live.

I then went to the bathroom. I walked to the sink, turned on the cold water and began splashing it in my face. I closed my eyes while splashing the water and when I opened them, I wasn't in the bathroom anymore. Now I was in some kind of Oriental Museum/Art Gallery, complete with beautiful Art work. I was in shock. I was totally disoriented by this. It actually scared me as well.

I finally got my bearings enough to be able to explore this new area. I approached a woman that in the Gallery. She looked like she may have been the Owner or Curator. She was Oriental as well and for some reason I thought may be more understanding of my current dilemma. I didn't want to "stereotype" her, but my real friends of Oriental descent here in my physical life, seem to be very knowledgeable about NP experiences.

She though, had no clue what I was talking about. I walked around some more and finally found myself at a window. I looked outside and saw the sky. It was clear at first and then a large rolling cloud came into view, which soon morphed into a Dragon. At that point I knew I was Dreaming. But, I thought I was Dreaming as in I had fell asleep at the Hockey game. Once again, at no time in my experience did I know I was Dreaming from the point of my physical body lying sound in my bed.

I had enough of this and tried to end the experience. I tried to alter things around me, but nothing changed. I mentally demanded "Dream over" and "Return to Physical", but nothing worked. I was locked in this scenario and I guess it was for "hours". Somewhere along the line I clicked out of my conscious awareness and the next thing I knew, I was waking up for real. I was amazed that it was now 3:00 in the afternoon. I was locked in this simulation for quite a while. I had gone to sleep at about 1:30 am, so I was shocked to see that I slept so late.

This was such a strange experience because I was having a LD from a Dream I was already in, while thinking that I really was at that Hockey game. This was as vivid and in your face as this current here is.

I am still disoriented by this today. Recently Nameless, on another thread, posted a experience she had that had a lasting effect on her the following day. Well once again, today I know exactly what she was talking about.

I don't understand why I was so troubled when I first became aware I was in that Oriental Museum. For some reason, I was fighting tooth and nail to get out of that place. I talked to many "characters", but none of them understand what I was trying to say. I had never met any of the characters from this "simulation" in my real life before. I had never been to that Museum/Gallery either. Everything was "alien" to me.

This was really hard to explain. There was enough occurring to overload my brain at the time. I could write more on it, but I really hate typing, lol. All I can say is it definitely falls into the category of "unique" and "bizarre".

  Thank You for listening!  :-)

That is odd Lumaza that no one even knew what your were talking about. There are usually at least one or two and most times several who seem caught up with you. Makes me think while your experience was non-physical for them it may have been physical. Totally confusing.

I've set the experience you referred to aside for now thinking something else will present itself in time.

I find it interesting the woman only 'lets say' gently fondled you. We both know how aggressive these scenarios can get. I didn't say in that post we referred to but there was an element like that as well and it to was 'gentle' rather than almost to the point of abusive. Don't know whether that is a sign of our progress or theirs.
