how do you preform realty checks with out

out a body  when lucid i onley become lucid when i see some i know checking your hands and the pushing a finger,past your palm dosent work. the onley ones that do is i know im dreaming but i seem to project my thought on to the person by me in my dreams and that persion is doing the realty check and its not regerstering im doing one.this is what iv noticed in my dream journal.
