I have grown very fond of lucid dreaming over the years as I have experienced it more and more and I have noticed that it does have some secret benefits that not many people know about. When you are lucid you have full control over your whole mind including your conscious and subconscious mind. So why wouldn't you be able to just "tweak" them to your advantage? Well the truth is that you can. You can explore all your memories, your minds talents and possibilities, and you can also subliminally program your subconscious to overcome a certain obstacle that your subconscious may be creating like a fear of what might be on the other side after you project your astral body and have your first out of body experience. Well if you can lucid dream then you can solve these problems. You can also relive or restudy an experience that you have had in your life all the way back to the time your memory collected data on occurrences around you. This could very well mean that you also have some faint memories dating all the way back to the time you were almost born. Some memories may be in the mind from those last days in the womb and if you want you can relive them to see what it was like. You can also explore the full power and capabilities that the mind has to offer. You can do this by many ways. You can imagine yourself in a long hallway with doors branching off into demonstrations of the minds power or you can have the doors branching off into different memories that you have in your mind. You can do this easily by basic though form creation. While in a dream you can imagine yourself standing in a white room with nothing in it but a large super computer. On this super computer, you can visualize, has a selection of every single memory that you have and that with a click of a button, they can be relived. It is as simple as that to explore your mind when in a lucid dream. The possibilities are unlimited when in a lucid dream. You can even project from them! So I suggest experiencing both astral projection and lucid dreaming as frequently as you can because they both have secret rewards that can be a great benefit to you.

this sounds very interesting, would you be able to explain how this technique helps projection?

cheers

~Sweet memories envelop me / in dreams of times before/ Those sacred days / that swayed my way / I'd give anything for.

Astral projection and lucid dreaming have very close similarities, especially regarding awareness. If you're proficient in one, than I'm sure you'll experience the other at some point. Many AP'ers have more spontaneous lucid dreams as they get better at projection.
