My brother describes similar experiences to me and we generally have problems identifying each other's dreams as lucid or normal. In my experience, the lucid dreams are clearer than life and I know that I'm dreaming. He says he has clearer than life dreams but does not think about it, at the moment, being a dream or not. I think it's hard for another person to tell you whether or not you've had a lucid dream simply because you can never really make us have your experience through words. For my own purposes, I will not identify a dream as lucid if I've not made the realization during the dream that I am in fact dreaming.

I would agree with Kozzi. I don't say it was a lucid dream unless I am aware of what is going on. The realization that I am dreaming has to occure for me say it was lucid. I go on this because I have had some cartoony, black and white, and full blown realistic lucid dreams. But I have also had the same kinds of regular dreams. The only difference is that in lucid dreams I am activly thinking about the situation and such and the others are often recalled as memories.
Yeah, last night I had a dream that for the most part would have seemed to be a regular dream, but I was making decisions to do dangerous things based on the fact that I knew at the moment that I was dreaming. For instance, I would step to the edge of the roof of a house and decide whether or not I would jump down. My first thought was that it would be too dangerous, but then I would say to myself, "no it wouldn't, I'm dreaming!" Then I would jump down and let myself fall normally, but then catch myself right before I hit the ground. It wasn't a very clear lucid dream, but unlike normal dreams, I was aware of what I was doing, I could see fairly well, and I knew that I was dreaming and would therefore make decisions based on that fact. That's a lucid dream however unclear the scene may have been.

Yesterday morn', I had looked over that Remote Influencing (or something like that) thread.
Well, last night I had to wake up early, so I set my alarm to early, but just kept hitting the snooze for a few hours.
Anyways, at one point, I noticed I was floating over a road, because a car was in front of me and sped off. Well, I stopped and thought "Huh? I was just in bed. Maybe I'm out of body! No, it feels different. Maybe I'm remote viewing. So, I chased the car (and I could move fast, apparently), then I flew past it and kept going.
At one point, I stopped and thought "I'm sure am in control. Maybe it's a dream. Nah, couldn't be. This is too real (aren't all dreams, though?)."
Well, I noticed my surroundings. It looked like I was in a moutain/desert region. I saw some U.S. highway or interstate signs, and I could read them. I don't remember what they said, but I could remember them. I saw one of those blue badge shaped signs that's either a an interstate or highway sign. Well, I don't remember if it was an exit or something, but I tried to remember the number to check it out.
It was like 679, I believe.
I was in control, but, I didn't know it was a dream. Does that count?
The whole dream scenario didn't really kick in until I woke up again.
