After I had begun reading part of Laberge's LD bible I was very pleased with his mnemoinic induction technique and started using it myself except what's happening to me is that I don't start lucid dreaming but getting control of my dreams.
In all these dreams I recalled afterwards where prior to them I had set the intent to "realize that I'm dreaming" I clearly remember how I was thinking out what would happen next, like in the sessions of daydreaming I have on my strolls sometimes, i was creating the scene content to my pleasing, however I do not get lucid, I do not realize that I have a physical existence besides all this.
I have come to the point where I am seriously asking myself whether I actually don't want to lucid dream.
In recent dreams I was hovering, flying, looking at myself through a mirror and consciously thinking out what I want to happen next in the dreamscene, only occasionally unexpected elements enter, yet all this does not get me to realize the distinction between dreams and physical reality.
I am confused by how many people have lucid dreams but so little control over it, yet I feel my own thoughtforms creating scene content as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

I enjoy the control I have over my dreamscenes and I'm wondering if lucid dreaming could give me even more control by awareness.
