Character apparitions/shiftings/disappearances

You've probably seen places and perhaps even objects appear out of nowhere, shift, or disappear in dreams, but have you seen people in your dreams do that? lol I had funny dreams like that in which I'd be talking to a dream character and when I look back at him/her, the person looks like somone different. Sometimes characters in my dreams seem to shrink and disappear when I try to grab hold of them (like when play fighting or something).

with me its weird because i create places and things ive never seen but i can never make people whenever i try to focus on their face it goes weird if you know what i mean.
