Grotesque metaphoric dream

Four men praying == Spiritual point of view.

Man tears his flesh == We are the ultimate (rending one's flesh is an extreme action) cause of our suffering and pain.

Woman applying salt == We experience this suffering by way of other people.

Woman licks the salt == We do this to draw others to us and to receive their adulation.

So we suffer because we hurt ourselves by our insistence of defining our persona and reality in terms of other people and in the expectation of attention and adulation (rampant ego at work).

Your mileage should vary.

I'm with Jouni on this.   Try to see where in your life you are creating dramas.   Understand the seperation between your pain and other people's causes.

My idea on your dream:
You may be placing too much emotion into your spiritualism or daily life.Four is connected to things being played out in waking or daily life.

Your emotion is tearing you up and leaving you exposed.

The women represents an instinctual aspect of yourself. You try to heal by applying "salt to the wound". Your negative female side appears to be helping you, but is only licking the wounds, like an animal.

I had a strange dream where I saw 4 turban wearing men praying in front of some body of water. I then saw a man whose flesh was torn from his body who was on a boat in the middle of a body of water. I was told that he did this to himself. Then I saw a lascivious looking woman who then put salt on this mans wounds and then starting licking them.
What does this dream mean?
Old stale pizza before going to bed?
Too much CNN?
I hope this does not mean I am going psycho.
