Title: Is there only one dream ?
Post by: lullabi on January 04, 2004, 19:08:52
We all have several dreams a night, so you're probably remembering things from other dreams you've had that same night.

P.S - Try using punctuation.

Dreams don't have to make sense.
"several dreams at the same time" most unlikely (only, maybe for
head conjoined twins)

How sure are you that you had several dreams at once?

Several dreams in one night?  Try hundreds.  The average dream lasts 1 minute, but there is no period of deep sleep in which you are not dreaming.  What you remember from a dream may actually be a series of dream memories from the many dreams you have in the night jumbled into one combined memory.

of course it is possible to have several "dreams" at the same time. This occurs from the mind split effect. Most of the time, we just remember the most exciting or profound experience over the other experience, but in rare occasions we recall both (seperate experiences taking place at the same time). I recall being in the real time zone and still held onto my dream.

There are a few parts to dreams:
<> Brain thinks about things contained in brain.
<> Spirit interprets info recieved from brain.
<> Brain interprets info recieved from spirit.
<> Spirit interprets astral.

The last 2 use information from a real (and usually nonphysical) place. Since dreams are somewhere in that place, you could say there is only 1 huge dream.
