Hello Jen,

consider going back to the music store and either having your mother choose her own musical instrument, or giving her one as a gift, to check out what might happen?

Hi L,

Do you mean try and recreate the dream? How do you do that?

Well there are many ways to do that - any way really that makes it come clear in your mind and becomes manipulable in consciousness.

You could tell the story (the more detail, the more real and powerful it becomes) out loud or write it down. If you have enough mental discipline, just a blank stage (like a holodeck) in your mind's eye will do and the dream is re-created.

You can then freeze frame it, re-wind it, try different things - like Groundhog Day - until you get it right or you understand what's needed to be understood. Or until you fall asleep LOL.

That's Project Sanctuary stuff.

Good fun. Who needs a TV ...

I had a dream yesterday which I believe was symbolic. I later figured out the symbols, and I figured I'd share.

I was in a drug store with my Mom. We went over to this one section which had musical instruments. I ended up buying a metronome.

We then got into some horrible argument over someting stupid.

When I woke up it didn't take long for mom to gripe @ me about something small. Although it didn't turn into a fight, I figured the dream was stil trying to tell me something.

I thought about the symbols, and what they might mean. The fight between me and mom could symbolise tension. The metronome is used to keep time in music. Mom and I also tend to get into fights over housework more than other things. I figured out then, that mom felt like she was running out of time to get things done around the house before the holiday.

Mom was doing housework when I woke up, and did it continually for most of the day. Although she said she got everything done, she could have easily been worried about not getting everything done (hence her continous working at it).
