A few years ago i had a lot of nightmares and i ended up taking control over my dreams. I still remember when my religion teacher said whenever he had a nightmare he said a prayer. You have no ideea how efective that thing is. But i think you have to realise it's just a dream for you to say the prayer. Anyway after a period of time i got all  stressed out in real life and i lost control again. I realised that if i'm not relaxed in real life i can't do anything. So this past months my only LD if this are LD  are about me stoping people on the streets and kissing them. It begings just like a normal dream and then i kind of become conscious and start loking for someone i like :p i don't always find one but hey it sure is exciting, i mean who can do that in real life.

Prayers can be powerful. Even from a non religious viewpoint. The point (to me, I am just speaking for myself here) is that those powerful focused thoughts are at work and the intention behind it is really positive. Want, desire, intent, feeling safe/secure, all work. Belief in itself is awesome.

It's nice to escape the day to day reality sometimes... :)
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

Prayers are an effective way to just regain hope for the spirit, as well as making a divine connection. I find it very spiritually invigorating, and yes, dreams are indeed great places to just do what you want..it's another form of escapism from the ennui of our lives sometimes
