Hi everyone..

I my post a few weeks ago, I talked about how i have a lack of dreams that i can remember.. Or if I do remember one, it is very faint.. Not vivid like they used to be.

I was suggested vitamins, some of which I have been taking like b12.. Affirmations, dream journal, and crystals. I have done all of these and I can say fairly certainly that.. Unfortunately, it seems I wasted my miney on the moldavite crystal and amethyst that I have been putting under my pillow. I use my dream journal only if i remember something which is the problem.. That i cant.. So that is limited. The affirmations dont seem to help... And the only thing that seems to be doing anything is taking melatonin before bed during the week. But even then, i remember short parts of dreams that are very very foggy.

So here is a question I have been wondering... I have been reading alot about the pineal gland and calcification of it. I dont consume much water and if I do, it is usually filtered somehow so i assume I am not getting much flouride from that. I also use flouridated toothpaste like so many others and am trying to find some that is flouride free. I have heard dairy products also calcify the pineal gland and i do eat alot of dairy but i am not sure if this is true.

I wonder if my pineal gland is very calcified and if that is why I am not having vivid dreams and also maybe why i am not very successful at AP.

If anyone could provide a theory on this and some definate ways of reactivating my pineal gland.. Maybe this would help.

Meditation!  :-)

your looking for a physical reason to a metaphysical problem,
you could fast for a few days or do some energy work

if you can still use your imagination its not your pineal gland

DEFINITELY not it.  :)

What Lionheart said.

Personally, I think you're making this into too big a deal.  Stop worrying about it... live your life... do what Lionheart suggests, and just meditate.  Enjoy your physical life.  Stop worrying.  :)

You should do meditation daily that is the only way.

Be wary of suggestions which say it's the only way.   :-)
There's always more than one way.

Honestly I don't know much about meditation other than you are supposed to stop thinking which is kind of hard. Is there any resources you guys suggest for someone who wants to learn how to meditate properly?

Do a Google search on Meditation. There are thousands of sites that can show you how. Basically you just sit in a quiet place, close you eyes and relax, release, let go. Oh, by the way that's the same technique used in Phasing. You can Meditate anywhere anytime, Xanth says he does it while riding a train, some other people do it by walking down a quiet road, my better half Mary Jo does it while gardening and painting her Dragon sculptures. To each their own. Find your "happy place" and just let go!  :-)
The hardest part is shutting off the rest of the world, but this comes with practice. At first you will close your eyes and all your thoughts of the world and your busy life will invade you, but after a time you will notice they will just go away. You will also see that things that prevented you from successfully Meditating in the first place, will no longer have control over you in your everyday life. Meditation gives you the chance to just turn everything off and hear what you really think and feel about things. It gives you the opportunity to listen to your inner self. It gives you a chance to ponder your existence!  :-)
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

The first video in this series by Adyashanti is really good:  http://unlimitedboundaries.ca/2012/02/19/adyashanti-true-meditation-series/

And Tom Campbell has some great advice, I suggest reading/watching the following:
