Girl jumping on my bed

I have had a dream the last two nights that has really baffled me, I need any help I can get to figure this out. The last couple of nights I have had two dreams of a Young girl jumping up and down on the edge of by bed. I am sleeping in my dream, however, I am awaken by my beds shaking. When I look at the foot of my bed there is this little girl (She looks about 8 or 9 years old) jumping on my bed. I look at her and ask her to stop, she just starts giggling though. I find myself not being able to get out of bed, like I am mesmerized by looking at her. The girl does not speak she just laughs and points at me. The girl looks real, however, she has sort of a transparent look to her. It's almost like you can see right thru her, I wake up terrified and shaking. Does anyone know what this means?

This is either a hypnagogic hallucination (very common) or else it is a real little girl who exists in an alternate reality (the astral) having a bit of fun.  In either case I wouldn't be too bothered.  But the next time it happens you should try to get out of bed (non physically) and see what happens.  With a bit of luck you could find yourself stepping out of your physical body.   Sometimes I wake up in this state and can wave my arms around.  They look kind of transparent too.

firstly, waking up in a dream might signify a type of spiritual awakening, and the girl pointing at you and you being afraid of her might or might not be signifying a wall in your spirituality, which I feel is fear of the unknown.

You don't recognize her or anything? Hmm... maybe she's the child version of someone you know but forgot seeing a picture of... or maybe she's your dream girl.

How odd But it's not really a bad dream I'd say...

I had an OBE or dream OBE (I am not experienced enough to tell yet) that I left my body and fell over a chair that wasn't supposed be there (reality fluctiation?). I stumbled up...not really in pain ofcourse and wanted to go out of my room. I sensed that someone was standing behind the door I was about to enter. I have learned how to deal with anxiety & fear much better these days and instead of being scared I love to turn the tables so I figured I'd scare the person/entity that was standing behind my closed door.

I opened the door with a great jerk, stuck my head through the opening and said "BOO!!!!".

There she was... a little girl with brownisch, curly hair and a bit terrified by my performance. I felt a bit stupid since I didn't really want to scare off little girls

I tried to touch her a bit but I couldn't really tell if I really felt something. I figured I'd leave her alone and check out my bathroom mirror. I went into the bathroom through the other door besides the girl (she was standing in the middle of those two doors).

I know mirrors can be tricky objects and to prepare myself I said to myself in a playfull, singing manner: "A mirror, a mirror.....". I looked into it and my face began to take shape. I looked a bit younger and with short hair I guess (I got long hair now).

I rememberd to keep my experience short for remember's sake and went back to my room.

The girl stood besides my bed, still in panic. Apparantly she did not like that I left my body or something, wich was still lying in the bed. So to calm the whole situation, I walked towards my bed in an, again, playfull "pomtie-dom-pom-pom"-singing manner and after saying to myself "I AM GOING TO REMEMBER THIS!!!!!", I threw myself on my body with my back down.

Within an instant I awakened and jerked around a bit to gain control over my physical suit and rememberd the whole thing.

Dreams like this are weird indeed I think. Or OBE's, whatever it was. It made me wonder who this girl was...

Firstly, I am very unexperienced in lucid dreaming and I haven't been able to lucid dream in quite a while now but I'm always attracted back to sites like this...
just to clear that up.

My first experience of a Lucid Dream I still remember quite clearly today (it was about 2 years ago) and I was completely amazed by how clear everything was (and the fact that I was lucid dreaming) and I have noticed some other people here say how amazed they were at how clear things were on their first lucid dream.. Nothing was dream like here however, I was in my room, everything seemed the same or very similar but I did not notice my body laying on the floor (don't ask). The shock did not wake me up, however running it over in my head I believe did.. I could not open my eyes because they were opening and closing in my dream state, however I believe the thoughts of why I can't feel my eyes or body is what caused me to Finlay lose it and then I remember everything was black... I then knew I could open my eyes.

anyway, after this experience I started looking up lucid dreaming and such.. one morning when I woke up, I just laid there and tried to imagine myself being surrounded by an environment and not being in my physical body (sort of forcing a lucid dream) and then I immediately realized that I was there.. Things did not seem nearly as clear as my first experience though, possibly because of the way I achieved it. But one of the first things I did was leave my room and then I decided to go in my bathroom and see what I looked like in the mirror.. I saw myself, much like you described.. my hair did seem slightly different, my face a little different and a little younger. When I thought about it it seemed to me this is more the kind of way I see myself in my mind, not how I physically see myself.

However, considering my lack in knowledge over lucid dreaming I am still not quite sure exactly what my experiences mean.

In the last year and a half or so I have not experienced lucid dreaming again.

the girl some people see is writin about in a book, The Art of Dreaming she, in this book, is a blue scout.  "she" is a very powerfull mentor, sorda like a teacher, she can take u to places u never immagined possable, evan in a persons highest knowlage she will still amaze. she is beautifull, for i have seen her too. i saw her first just standing at the end of my bed, freaked as "pooh" i awoke. a month later she came again, this time i just looked at her, thinking. nothing as it would be in a dream, almost resembling perfect reallity. i then asked her to help me, " i have no power left to move, can u help me...?'" she then walked over to my bed side and took my hand, WOW it was the best thing i have ever experianced. energy flowed through me like water. she took me to numerious places, poised only to help and teach.

How do you know that it was the same girl? And if it's true, then why was she the one who was in panic instead of me? I mean, if I was an experienced traveller like a girl you describe and with so much energy, I don't think I'd be affraid of some novice like me saying "Boo!!!".

I am not saying that you are wrong though. It sounds appealing to me that someone could help me out with lot's of things.

play roles within your dreems.

ur intention was to scare what u thought was going to scare u, Right?

I have done something simular, i turned around a corner to frighten my stalker, but it was a young girl, i felt real bad.

it made me think, i became lucid and asked her to forgive me and i woke up.

what u intend happens as ur inttent is whole. be it for good or bad.

and im not shur if it is the same girl, but i know that if was and u see her again it would be fun to let her take u beyond AP limit.

Dang all this talk is making me miss my dreams, writing about them was so much fun. Stupid Yogi sleep... I don't care if it's 10x normal energy, you can do things there you can't do in reality... ohhh yeah... and lucidity would just be even crazier and weirder! BABY STEPS!
