Well, I have drank water before but it doesn't have much of a taste and I wasn't aware of swallowing. Perhaps this is due to inexperience. I'm not sure even what purpose this served as I was given water to drink by the beings I was with at the time. My current throy theory is that they were trying to help me become more focused and aware...

Wow, that's pretty neat! Interaction on the astral is one of the coolest experiences.

I try to avoid eating and drinking while lucid. It feels too physical, makes me think of my real body, and wake up. When I do eat, it tastes exactly like it would to my real mouth. The last thing I ate was 2 candy bars. Sex does the same thing (and feels equally real) but often I'm too horny to resist.

This is one of my all time favorite things to do while lucid.  I had to give up sugar for a while because of some blood sugar issues and one thing I loved doing was going from store to store while lucid and eating anythign sweet I could get my hands on.  I would desperately try to hold onto the lucid state for a long time, which Im able to do luckily thanks to past experience.  The food tastes exactly like it does in real life and even better cus you dont get full.  I also recommend it for anyone who is dieting.

I literally stuff my face with sugar during these times.  Its strange cus when the cravings arent there i just pass it by and it isnt as fun.  I also like talking to the dream people in the stores.. sayign things i think are funny.  I sometimes think im too rude maybe i should keep my manners even in that state.

I've had this a few times.  The things I tasted in dreams had the effect of turning a normal dream into a lucid dream, as the things I tasted were so much better and sharper than in "real life" - pizza, white chocolate and water, also a cigarette!

My original theory was that it was a sign to my subconscious that I could become lucid or have an OBE.  My new theory is that things should always taste that way, and I have problems with my ability to taste properly (throat chakra blockage, also ear-nose-throat problems).[xx(]

i usually think of a plan to do, before i fall asleep, in case i become lucid in my dream. last night i decided to try tasting something. i became lucid and imagined i was eating a steak, and it tasted so real. i could feel myself chewing it and i could feel the juices and it was really wierd how real it seemed. has anybody had any similar experiances?
