Missing a dream journal entry

This is weird. My mom calls me to say her companion died. After getting off the phone I remembered having a dream a few days before with her friend(mine too really) in it. I looked through my dream journal and couldn't find my entry. I clearly remember writing his name into my dream journal. I remember using green ink and deciding whether to write his name because of the possibility of it being my own aspect. I did decide to place his name so I could remember the dream better for later. When I journaled this I also remember forgetting what he said in the dream, but it was wordy (he was a talker) and it was about an observation about something or someone, kind of like words of wisdom(truth).

When I told my mom about this dream she said that L really liked me. She said (and I have read), people know their going to die and announce it in some form or fashion to certain people. I think this may be so. I have a next door neighbor who was in my dreams several times before he died.

Another interesting note, my mom said the day before this incident, L. was cleaning out his kitchen cabinets. He told her that he had something he found which I would love! She asked what was it, he refused to tell her, he said it's going to be a surprise! Guess I'll have to wait on that, or was his presence in my dream the surprise?. I don't think the obvious was what he meant.

While at my mom's house she was showing me where a woman was standing while she was snoozing in her recliner. Her description was that of a woman with a beautiful smile and a radiant light surrounding her. I instantly said, "An Angel!". My mom looked confused for a second and said, "That's it!". It hadn't occured to her until I mentioned angel to her. She is so at peace about this whole thing now. She said she prayed that L. would make it to heaven before they had him cremated (she doesn't like the idea of cremation). She knows now that he is fine.

Oh...something else. I had been keeping L's pet bird for a long time. It died suddenly last December. When I told him about this last month, he acted like he didn't hear me. My dad had done something similar to that when I was running his business for him. I had asked him about something concerning the future. He had a strange blank expression, and then acted like I hadn't said anything. It turned out he wasn't around(died) when this date came around.

Well well.  Some very interesting information and kudos to you for being aware enough to connect the synchronicities!  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks RedWolf. I don't know if your into neuralingusitics (some light reading I have done), but an additional observation I've made is this:

My dad from my memory was a predominantly visual person. This is why the blank look. L. was an auditory. Instead of the blank look he turned his eyes to the side.

Just another observation I remember.

Hi Wisp, Neurolinguistics is not my arena, but recognizing patterns is.  Much of what you talk about I have also found in the Carlos Castaneda book series.  Very interesting stuff and life changing.

What you speak of is true also re the auditory as opposed to being visual.  We all have our gifts and each varies according to individual perceptions.

Red Wolf,
I have a strange question for you. I haven't read any of Castaneda's books. I've heard his name around here at the forums quite a bit.

question: Is Castaneda a pen name?

I'll have to check out some of his writing some time. My (ex)sister in-law is a psychic, she mentioned his name a few times this past year.
